This was the small one. Got a bigger size. Quite fragrant. I was concerned abt the alcohol but I was assured by a staff member that all alcohol was evaporated after baking, so pregnant women and children can eat with no worries. The bread had a nice chew. Lychee flesh was present throughout the bread, and bits of walnuts for pleasant crunch. Overall on the sweet side cos of the lychee flesh, which offered bursts of tangy sweetness in almost every bite. Supposed to have rose petals but I didn’t really notice it. Can ask the cashier to slice for you. I was told this bread could be kept outside for 3 days and up to 1 week in the fridge.
Excellent tart excellent choc. None of that sweet throat-irritating nonsense. I ate bite after bite and could still keep going. Usually I could only finish half of a dessert cos of the sweetness, but this, I ate the whole thing 🤭
We ordered peppermint mocha and earl grey and as you can see the scoops are very generous
The Ispahan eclair (topmost) had a sugared jellied texture that went nicely with the rose cream and raspberry. On the other hand, the strawberry eclair (seasonal for CNY) was just average and there isn’t a distinctive taste.
The iced earl grey latte was so light and refreshing! With a pronounced earl grey aftertaste. The iced mocha was again average.
Enjoyed looking at the eclairs more than actually eating it 😂 however, the cafe did have a nice relaxing ambience, so I would recommend coming here for a lazy tea session and ordering more unorthodox flavours.
Even though the ice cream interior was made of dark chocolate, this dessert was a little too sweet for my liking. The ice cream was also frozen hard and we had trouble cutting through it. Good for people with a sweet tooth!
3 different chocolate origins and darkness % icecreams from 65, 70 & 75. We personally prefer more thick (gao) type but still, good effort.
Brownies are dry on the inside, be sure to mixed with your icecream else we find it too dry... Mocha drink was erm, not that great either.
$14 with 1-1 but chances of coming back are low. There are better ones out there for tummy and pocket.
Nevertheless, funan really has a huge change and removing the "DigitalLife" concept, it literally moved into a Lifestyles for more people who are not there just for the "D"
