Healthy and nutritious lunch fix from Mr Bean. My rice bowl selection was filled with a variety of toppings such as edamane beans, minced chicken and soft-boiled egg. And instead of rice white or brown rice, the three-colour wholgrain mixed rice consisted of white rice, brown rice and red rice. Absolutely filling and satisfying!

This healthier version was lighter, still tasty but less flavourful than the original. It lacked the aromatics of the original thai basil minced chicken rice; and the saucy, salty and spicy kick packed in every scoop was missing.

Tasty, nutritious and satisfying earthy bowl of soba salad. As far as flavours and textures go, it was crunchy, sweet and savoury. I skipped the tangy creamy thai sauce that came with it as once tossed together, the saltiness from the smoked salmon and ebiko was sufficient.

This plate was healthy and pleasing on the eye. The slab of salmon was nicely grilled to a balance of crispy-moist. Though not big in flavour, it was accompanied with a sweet and savoury miso sauce; and a light buttered mash.

An Asian style poke bowl containing 100g of cubed raw salmon sashimi seasoned in miso dressing and placed on a bed of Japanese rice with edamane, pickled ginger and cucumbers. Healthy and light, but I was left unsatisfied given its price as the flavours and texture were lacking. But two thumbs up for its contribution towards sustainable farming and minimal carbon footprint through the use of biodegradable bowl and utensils. 👍👍

The handcrafted sandwich came in a huge triangular form that looked filling at the first sight. The multigrain rye bread was light and crisp that complemented well with generous slices of smoked salmon, capers, onions, tomatoes and fresh crunchy veggies. Added $3 more for soup of the day and voila, a complete healthy hearty meal.

The meatless bowl of noodles was filled with a generous amount of ingredients such as taupok, soya mutton and konnyaku prawn. I was expecting a spicy kick but it was more sourish. Compared to the usual tom yum, the broth was midly flavoured, light and clear. Overall a simple delightful dish.

Lots going on in a single bowl filled with red rice, raw salmon, jalapeno (which I remove), kimchi, sesame seeds, avocado and chipotle mayo. Compared to other poke bowls, this bowl was more boldly-flavoured and very filling. Pricer than others but value-for-money for its serving size and with Beyond 1-for-1.
