Every table that came here seemed to order this. The ricotta is freshly made in house and I’d never tasted a smoother ricotta in my life. It was silky but light as well making it so palatable. The cherry tomatoes were so fresh as well, slightly blistered and so sweet. All this was balanced out by the tang from the sourdough that held this all together. Could possibly eat this everyday.

This depends on the nut butter they decide to make and this time was an almond-hazelnut butter. The paste was little bit chunky which I appreciated and the honey drizzled added a slight but not overwhelming sweetness. The toasted nuts added a nice crunchy texture too but the HERO was definitely the bread slightly tangy but so fragrant.

Just look at that cheese melt and I think that’s enough to say how I felt about this. The bread was crusty and the blend of cheeses lended just enough savoriness to the sandwich. The strands of sauerkraut helped to cut through that richness and the tomato jam on the side added a freshness and acidity to each bite. Just wished they had options to add some sort of protein in the sandwich.

One of the sides that they offer is the bak kwa bread, which comes with the generous slice of thick cut, crusty bread loaded with their in house bak kwa jam and topped with fried shallots and spring onions. This was quite addictive but will get overpowering real quick as it’s quite salty but the crunch from the shallots was a nice addition.

$6 for a serving of sourdough from Burnt Ends accompanied with EVOO and a hazelnut dukkah. There’s also a choice of truffle butter instead. The bread had a nice tang to it and the crust of the sourdough was quite addictive. The EVOO adds a richness to it while the dukkah adds a nice texture and a slight spice.

This bread was so so flavorful and can be ordered for a supplementary $8 from the lunch set menu they offered. The focaccia was loaded with cherry tomatoes, olives, and topped with parmesan that became crusty after being baked. The tomatoes added a sweet burst of flavor when you bite into it and the olives a savory kick. The bread was fluffy and can I could taste the olive oil that was in the bread. Would order it over and over again

2 halves of crusty yet fluffy polo bun, has an exterior similar to a baguette but an interior that’s much softer. The butter and condensed milk makes the whole situation a sweet and salty affair and every mouthful is a perfect mix of it. The bread seems to be sprinkled with salt which is where i’m assuming the salt comes from?? but it maybe because it’s salted butter.

From the famous bangkok chain phoenix lava and they have several branches all over SEA. I tried the Uji Matcha but there are also flavors such as chocolate, the original salted egg and even durian. The pale green exterior was a lot thicker and chewier than I expected but it was pretty good and not bland thankfully. Beware of the runny exterior and it’ll explode and spill all over if you’re not careful and it’s burning hot which I learnt the hard way. The liquid interior was not overly sweet and even had bitter matcha notes which made it feel like they used real matcha powder to make it and not just a flavoring. Little on the expensive side but definitely worth a try.
