Burpple Beyond
Laksa pasta ($21++)
Laksa taste is not pronounced enough and it was very very bland to the extent that we asked for salt from the restaurant! The linguine was cooked al dente. Soft shell crab was crispy and nice though. Overall i still wont order this dish again.
Curry Prawn Pasta ($21++):
Came here to enjoy burpple beyond 1-for-1 pasta/pizza. Linguine is cooked al dente! Curry sauce is rather well balanced, would be better if they could add curry leaves which would add another dimension to the dish!
Elderflower mojito ($4.70)
Used burpple one for one. The icecream was refreshing and citrusy as it was on the sour side, quite an acquired taste.
Vanilla single scoop ($4.70)
One for one with burpple beyond. The vanilla is premium flavour. It melted quickly but was rich and not too sweet. Very nice!
Duck burger ($17.90++)
Had this with burrple beyond 1 for 1 so it was really worth it. Fries portion was substantial and i liked that they were nice to the bite.. crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, and also well seasoned. The smoked duck burger with charcoal bun tasted really good, just that as with smoked duck slices, harder to cut and chew. Other than that, would say that the burger was on point.
Baa-ger ($17.90++):
The ground lamb patty was juicy, goes well with the cheese, pickled red onion, slaw and homemade garlic aioli in it. Generous amount of fries comes along with it too.
Linguine Curry Prawns ($18.90):
Prawns are grilled well, goes well with the al dente linguine which was infused with Indian curry and aged cheese. It is one-for-one on Burpple!
Avocado toast ($15++)
Tasted quite bland. The almond nut gave it a nice crunch but overall still lacking in taste. Wont order again.
Taiwanese Sausage Meat Patties ($10+):
Patties are so juicy and sweet with a slight charred taste! Goes perfectly with their chilli sauce with a bowl of rice!
Burnt Chilli Chicken 2.0 ($10+):
Chicken was very flavorful with many depths of flavor coming from the burnt chilli, kaffir lime leave, ginger and some other ingredients. Goes well with their chilli sauce and shiny rice!
Gashouse eggs ($12++)
Toast with runny egg and cheese. Comes with mini scone and jam.
Scone is abit hard and rather bland. Toast is average tasting.
French toast ($12++)
Comes with caramelized bananas and berries and strawberries. Tastes good with the salted caramel sauce. Nice.
