My go-to every single time when I just need to grab quick lunch in CBD. It will never go wrong, and the set has sped up some decision-making time. Love the texture of the rice and it’s fragrance! Chili is good too, spicy enough for me.

Will try the chicken cutlet next time

💰 Credit cards & GrabPay possible

$41.70 for 5 pax ($8.34 each)

Flavorful, spicy with lots of peanuts!! Not sure how to describe a mala but this is my go-to. I’ve visited it 4-5 times.

Located in the food court just opposite Capital Square/Dean & Deluca. (Exit Telok Ayer mrt)

🙅🏻‍♀️ Cash payment only

Rich in flavor soup, the rice came with an egg on the top! Worth the money 😍 Thai tofu was very crispy and fragrant too! First time here and will visit again.

This place is a little hidden but it’s worth the find!

$6.30. Pricey for an Ayam Penyet. Not hot & crispy skin, dry on the inside. Soup was bland, chili not fragrant 😕 overall, not sth I would go back again unless I need food real fast (super fast service)

$9. Worth the try (& the queue).

Well-packed with ingredients - char siew, onsen egg, potato wrapped prawn, hongkong style wonton. All delicately prepared, which explains the queue.

CBD lunch below $10.

$5. They only sell this one item at the stall, so it’s easy to order. Just let them know the type of noodles and the size ($5/$6/$7).

Fragrant curry broth packed with ingredients like hainanese chicken, potatoes, taupok, fish cakes, bean sprout.

Cheap CBD weekday lunch! Slightly long queue. Don’t wear white if you plan to have this 🤣

$15.80. 4 choices of fish included - Salmon, Tuna, Baby Scallop, Yellow Tail. This is an M-size bowl.

Not a cheap option for weekday lunch, but it’s a bowl of quality kaisen don. Limited seating at Plaza Sing outlet.

Quality is as good as it’s Teppei Japanese Restaurant at Tanjong Pagar.

$9.50. First time trying this, better than expected for an “atas noodles”! Super well marinated meat. Noodles were not sticky, a just nice elasticity and firmness! Portion might not be sufficient for big eaters! Lunch choices below $10!!!

$9.90. Fresh sashimi salmon chunks tossed in house made soy dressing 😋 Well-cooked buckwheat cold soba, not clunky even for a takeaway. Perfect for weekday lunch below $10. (Long queue tho!)

All about that good and worthy meal deals.
