Got addicted to pepper lunch after having it a few times. The consistency of the beef is fresh and tender.

Quality was definitely worth the price. It came with rice and miso soup. The beef cubes were tender and it was bite sized.

Tender and juicy beef cubes with beansprouts and an egg. Would love to have the option to upsize the portion of beef though.
Recommended!

Affordable buffet for the quality as there are many varieties of vegetables to choose from.
Go for the beef and pork straight. All meats were fresh.

Buffet spread was really fantastic as they had many cuisines to choose from.

Tuna sashimi, salmon sashimi, silken tofu, 2 onsen egg, aglio olio pasta. Sashimi was additional $2.
Price is really steep based on the portion.
Not recommended.

Crispy fried breaded Nagano pork loin marinated with yuzu pepper and buttermilk over a bed of soft eggs, poached in yakiniku sauce and onions, over tanuki raw’s signature mixed rice served with grated radish and yuzu kosho mayonnaise.

Mixed of salmon sashimi, aburi salmon belly, cubed spicy salmon, mentaiko seared salmon sashimi and ikura over taniku raw’s signature mixed rice. Thing that keeps me coming back is their signature mixed rice that’s unique as most restaurants serves white plain rice.

Prawn, salmon, hokke fish, onsen egg, eggplant and broccoli.
Have tasted better tendons and tonkatsu elsewhere. The batter here is a lot lighter than others hence it’s not to my liking.

I love it that you can choose the hardness of your noodles as I like my noodles to be very hard and this place allows that compared to some other ramen places. The pork char siew was not to my liking as it was too lean and chewy.

This is my go to if I am craving for tonkatsu. Go straight for kurobuta if it’s the first time you’re trying.
Meat was fried to perfection even though it was thick. It didn’t come off too dry. Instead, it was juicy and tender. I like that they serve multi grain rice as well instead of just white rice.

Grilling on charcoal is always the way to retain the juiciness and natural taste of the food while giving it a crisp smokiness taste.

Quality over quantity.
