I was so excited to eat this, till I forgot to take a proper photo.
This was hands-down one of the best cheese cakes I’ve ever had. I’m not a fan of blue cheese, but the tinge of the cheese flavour along with the cream was in perfect harmony. The crust was pretty normal, a little too hard for my liking, but boy was this soooo good.
I had the whole thing for myself, which might have been too much, and can get abit sickening. If you love creamy custard vanilla base kinda desserts, yup, you got to try this.
To finish off our mains, we each got different desserts to get a taste of various flavours. Their desserts are pretty average, nothing to rave about.
1 - Red wine poached pear with Lime sorbet:
The poached pear was quite sweet, more of a berry flavour compared to red wine. Sorbet was pretty standard
2 - Layers of red bean and yam with rose glass:
Hardly could find any red bean on it, mainly the yam purée which is just like orh nee in between pastry sheets with chocolate sauce and ice cream
3 - Yoghurt pudding:
Personal favourite as it wasn’t too sweet, the base was like a mix of yoghurt and a little custard topped with chia and some crunchy bits, but it’s kind of like a breakfast jar so.... no complaints
4 - Warm chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream:
A very basic one, no float chocolate out of it though
