This set costs $19.80, which is quite worth it with the 1 for 1 deal. It comes with 2 rice bowls, 2 miso soup, 1 fried chicken skin and 2 bottles of plain water. The ebi is quite nice and not too floury. However we find that the rice is a bit too wet for our liking. Chicken skin is pretty nice too. Overall a very good deal!

Got this one-for-one burpple beyond deal @ $16.90. It comes with a soup and drink! The fish sprinkles are really good as it provides a crunch and different texture while eating. Take note that the beef has quite a bit of fats. Overall, very satisfying meal (if you have the one for one deal)!

Got the one for one deal and the total price for 2 sets is around $14.80 which is super worth it! The beef is sweet and tender. There are a lot of side dishes you can add on e.g. tempura, gyozas etc. We chose the gyoza and it’s crispy and nice. Overall a very pleasant experience and would definitely return!

Discovered this place at Sunshine Plaza, serving authentic Japanese food. We ordered the Unagi don and it is a must to order drinks in order to use the burpple beyond deal. The Unagi bowl is actually smaller than expected, as we got it in M size. (They have M, L and XL). But the Unagi is really flavourful and so delicious. Service, however, is a bit slow, but the Japanese staff was very very nice and polite. Other than that, their menu is very diverse and has a lot of variety! Would be interested to try out other dishes in future.

Expected more since this was raved but it was pretty normal. The broth is nice, but just as others had reviewed, the soup turns cold very quickly because the aircon in the restaurant is too strong. Fortunately for me, the meat isn’t as dry or tough as what others said, which is pretty good.

However, the service can be improved. We ordered the youtiao and it took forever to come. It only came when I was almost done with the meal, and had to remind the staff around 4 times for my youtiao, because I saw her serving others. She even accidentally poured hot soup on my mum, which really made the dining experience rather unpleasant.

Was shocked by the size of the plate because it’s huge! The pork katsu is average, but the highlight of the dish is the curry. The curry is so fragrant and goes well with the rice. The pork is slightly dry and fatty, so perhaps the chicken might be a better choice for those who don’t like the fats. The one for one makes the dish very worth it. The ambience is really good as well, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Good dining experience here!

Was craving for pasta so decided to pop by here. Got the Tempura Mentaiko Pasta. Usual price is $18 but with Burpple Beyond, it is really worth it. The pasta was creamy and the portion is just right so it won’t get too jelak. Fish was also crispy on the outside, but the meat is a bit tough, can be more tender! Atmosphere is great and the staff were very very friendly. Will definitely come back again.

Got this one-for-one deal under Burpple Beyond and it is so worth!! $4.90 each for a bowl of soup + a popiah + hot genmaicha. Chose the tomato basil soup - it is very thick and creamy and flavourful. For the popiah, I chose the sesame chicken popiah. It is more like a wrap, but the chicken is surprisingly tender and nice! Super worth it for its price.

Got this under the one for one deal which makes it more worth! They were quite generous with the crabmeat. Pasta can be quite spicy, so you can choose between the normal/spicy option. Ask for less chilli flakes if you can’t take spicy food. It can get a bit jelak though.

Ordered the Yuzu Miso Chicken Soba and it was very flavourful. Noodles were so smooth and nice to eat. Can really taste the yuzu in the soup. However, the broth is a little salty. It is usually priced at $13 and we got it under the Burpple Beyond one for one deal so it’s pretty worth it. Portion is enough too. It’s pretty easy to get a seat during the lunch crowd at CBD area.

Got the Mazesoba in Nagoya Style and it’s very flavourful and delicious!! Requested for less spring onions because there’s simply way too much. Service was good and fast, and this outlet is relatively emptier compared to the one at Tanjong Pagar.

Had one for one with burpple beyond so stopped by at this place. We had the Unagi don and Aburi Scallop Salmon don and they were very enjoyable!! Unagi don came with 8 generous slices of unagi and they were very flavourful. There was truffle omg the scallops for the other rice bowl, so it depends if you like the truffle taste.
