- waffle with a scoop of dark chocolate (all time favourite ice cream flavour)
- cup of 3 scoops with hojicha, earl grey, and the apiary (their signature flavour)
- the apiary flavour was an interesting one; definitely could detect its the honeycomb based unique sweetness.
- they did well with the waffle batter today as the waffles turned out light and fluffy, a perfect savoury pairing to the assorted ice cream flavours.
- it’s cheaper to get 3 scoops and share than to get a single scoop each (you can request for an extra cup as well, although this may or may not irk the staff serving you)
didn’t get any food here so this is a review of the coffee. their filter coffee (1st choice of bean) was an aromatic fruity blend, no doubt enhanced by the skill of the barista crafting my cuppa. after this i got a flat white, sipping on its simple velvety creamy sweetness while reading a book in the late afternoon.
a well lit space with a length and breadth covered with full length glass panels; ambience in the cafe can be described as clean, white, and minimalistic; all the things that appeal to me when people-watching and relaxing. the presence of exclusively stool chairs however dissuade me from spending another full day here.
the customer service and staff stood out the most to me as they were not only polite but worked to build a relationship with the customers. small talk was easy, especially if you were seated at the baristas coffee counter.
probably will return to try the food and enjoy the coffee
Park Bench Deli. y’all already know exactly whatsup. good sandwiches, need i say more? i guess i could cus with burpple beyond available here (for a limited time), it’s MORE than just worth it, it’s a must have! caveat is that the offer is not valid for the signatures so our range of choice for ‘sandwich’ offers was limited to about 6 other sandwich options. got a chance to try the cubano, mushroom, fried chicken, and turkey breast. while all 4 of them excited my tastebuds in different ways, my personal favourite of the night was the cubano, with the mushrooms coming in a very close second. for those looking for the “healthiest” option i would strongly recommend the turkey breast sandwich. we’d also taken the bottle of sriracha sauce (one of my all time favourite sauce options) but had forgotten to incorporate it into our meals as each of the sandwiches were in themselves very balanced. i suppose it’s safe to say that i’ve added this place to my ‘favourites’(:
