Mark this cosy 10-seater joint down for a pocket-friendly steakhouse experience. We recommend going for the Burpple-Exclusive 7 Course Set Menu ($78, includes appetiser, main and dessert). The star of the show is that tender and juicy Wagyu Tri Tip, grilled to a perfect, smoky char. Not in the mood for a multi-course meal? Then go for the Short Rib Steak ($25), featuring stellar marbling and a decadent mouthfeel.

Planning your next brunch? Put this cosy joint in Upper Thomson on your list. Service is good, and the brunch plates are top-notch (even better with Burpple Beyond 1-for-1 deals!). Follow Burppler Ade Tan's lead and get the Gashouse Eggs ($13), a unique dish that sees runny eggs baked in a thick, cheesy brioche. For something more substantial, the Big Brekkie (from $12) featuring honey ham, hard boiled eggs and pork sausage is foolproof!

Rocking an alfresco courtyard, this swanky spot is perfect for chill weekends spent with a good friend (or a book). Expect elevated brunch plates, including a deceptively simple Grilled Cheese Toast with Tomato Bacon Soup ($11). On sweets, the fluffy and fragrant Earl Grey Pancakes ($16) with cookie crumbs and poached pear is a winner. Get also the dark and roasty Flat White ($5.50), complete with nutty notes.

We ordered the Swiss Rosti, one with smoked salmon and the other with veal bratwurst. ($14.50) I changed my sunny side up to a poached egg so I could have some yolk-porn with my rosti haha.
Oh boy this was good. The bratwurst was meaty, delightfully juicy and generously portioned. (it was a really big sausage!) The rosti was really crispy but not overly oily and I could really bite and taste each shred of potato instead of it being mushy. The sour cream when mixed with the lemon gave the dish a delicious sourish tang. It was a simple, fuss-free meal which my dining partner and I enjoyed over good conversation.
The wait staff and baristas were attentive and patient. I paid $18.50 for two rostis and a long black, which is such a good deal for good quality food and ambience. In addition, Burpple Beyond can be used for the other mains on the menu, which is great for picky eaters. :)
