Jap
ramen was good, opted for the soft texture for the noodles
broth was pork soup with garlic oil. garlic taste not that prominent but it’s good
doesn’t come with egg, have to add on separately
There was an assortment of tempura ranging from fish to prawns to various types of vegetables!! The batter was pretty thin and not too oily. you can choose between rice or udon.
there was also a promo which gave us an extra 2 tempura prawns if we ordered the assorted set or sth.
i would say this set was super worth it.
it allows you to try a variety of skewers. love how juicy the chicken meatballs were. there were also a variety of toppings on the rice. you can add extra to make it a set.
love how tender the pork slices were! truffle taste could have been stronger
mentaiko, cheese and potato served on a hot plate! potato was soft enough and the cheese was so stretchy!!!
served with 2 slices of aburi chashu, half a flavoured egg, black fungus and spinach
really enjoyed the soup, it was rich in flavour but not overly salty which complemented the chashu which was pretty salty. the noodle texture was also different from the other ramen shops, it’s slightly flatter and springy
Yakiniku marinate is on the sweeter side compared to the gyudon. rice was too much.
i prefer their prawn one over the pork katsu.
the pork one was thick but wasn’t that tender…
the mix okonomiyki comes with pork, prawn and squid. best eaten when it’s hot!! it was rather thick and the veggies were crunchy
recommend the garlic fried rice as well! can feed 2-3 pax
reserve in advance if you prefer a seat where they cook it in front of you
Personal fave would be this belly don over their tonkatsu
lovely pieces of pork slices which were very tender and goes super well with the sauce
cheese was almost non existent
far cry from what was displayed on their menu
This is an upgraded version of the normal california maki. It came dressed with fresh sashimi
