Springy noodles doused in a delicious mix of chilli, vinegar, and lard oil + fresh fish balls + silky dumplings. This was great!!! One thing to note, though, is that this stall opens/ closes randomly. But I guess it makes this an even more special meal heh

I don’t know how to describe coffee but I know a good coffee when I taste one and this was great! It’s strong and the flavours were balanced. The pastries we had were both too dense though.

The mee siam was lacking in flavour and would have tasted better if it were spicier or more sour. What I liked, interestingly, was the ngoh hiang sold at the side! Both the chicken wing and liver roll were well-fried and tasty.

The salmon slices were fresh and the dollop of mentai mayo certainly helped to elevate the flavours. However, what marred the experience for me was the rice!!! I was disappointed to find that the rice used in the bowl wasn’t Japanese/ vinegared rice (or at least it didn’t taste like it).

This was so fragrant and tasty. I was surprised that it wasn’t jelat at all considering the rich sauce the noodles are doused in. The yellow pickles provided by the side effectively helped to cut through the richness. We got the upsized version and it was a huge portion that can be comfortably shared amongst two.

Each bowl was packed with toppings. I liked that there was a bit of topping with every spoonful that I took. A very refreshing treat! I had this as a meal and was stuffed.
