Bone marrow $13 could have been dish on it's own. Devoured by the 2 of us. The fats melted so nicely together with the squid ink, stabbed on the nicely toasted and charred bread. Heaven.
Next up was the duck tagliatelle $24 -> eat this first if you have too as the bone marrow really mellowed the taste of this pasta. What a waste. Moving on the the pork chop with apple $24... the ingredients paired so well together. The dish highly balanced. Pork went well with the sauce and apples, the mash was really good with the beetroot crunchies... finally after, I had another taste of the duck tagliatelle and it was just right. Overall $43 for 1 starter and 2 mains thanks to burpple beyond. I will be back!!!

We had the $50 1 for 1 3 course meal.
Squid appettizer was really so good.
The staff recommended the chicken confit and bbq pork. Loved the chicken confit with chickpeas. Pork was pleasant also. Someone came to explain the mains to us as well. The dessert sea cucumber creme brulee was a favourite! We finished everything. Ordered their wine during happy hour. $10 for chardonnay and $14 for rose. Along with 6 $6 oysters. HUGE and FRESH and so tasty. We came on monday and it wasn't crowded. Staff were fast and attentive.

Caviar, foie gras, black truffle flakes, fried garlic bits, medium rare beef slices and a sous vide egg topped on a bowl of warm Japanese rice. What’s there not to love?! I’ll answer that. Nothing, absolutely nothing. This was a delicious meal... the Donburi of our dreams! The burpple 1-for-1 deal made this such a wonderful and worth it meal. We’ll definitely be back for more!

Good time now to try out Kuro Maguro with their festive seasonal menu promo! Valid only during dinner times from now till 29th Feb, they’re serving up this Kaisen Chirashi Meshi set that’s topped with a variety of sashimi and seafood - anago, salmon, maguro, crabmeat, negitoro, kanpachi, ikura, prawn and mussel. Rice was more vinegary and though we would have liked a better bite, everything was fresh. The bowl also comes nicely in a filling set of chawanmushi, fried chicken, miso soup and fruits. It’s value for money we’d say!

Thank you @kuromagurod and @jpassportsg for having us! ✨

All- in Brekkie
Chai Latte
Ice Lemonade

Total: $29.50

Crowded on a Sat noon, waited awhile outside to get a seat inside. The all-in breakfast was surprisingly filling even though there's little crabs, but all the ingredients were fresh and yummy. No complaints on that. The ice lemonade was refreshing, the sweetness and sourness was well balanced. For the chai latte, it was heavier on the spice side, perfect on a rainy day and went well with the breakfast platter. Quiet a nice place to chill on a weekend.

Nice presentation of this Lobster tagliatelle. The taste amaze us as well, freshness from Lobster and the original taste can still be felt from this Boston Lobster. A lovely rendition to it. Chili blends came surprisingly similarities to chili crabs but less strong in taste to those used on crabs. Blends mellow with the tagliatelle and brings out the essence in this dish. The only downside to this meal is the tagliatelle came out slightly tougher to chew on certain pieces but otherwise it kept the dish balance in flavour.

4.5/5

After work, come with the colleages for simple dinner and drinks. Note-worthy dishes include their Pan-seared Salmon ($16) as well as their aromatic Prawn Aglio Olio ($13). Be sure to wash all that down with a pint or two of Little Creatures IPA ($9).

Find comfort on rainy days at this hotpot restaurant in Tanjong Pagar. Order the generous Wagyu Ribeye Set ($49.99) and choose a carb — Burppler Louisa Goh recommends getting the tang hoon to accompany the veggies, mushroom and beancurd. On soup bases, there's spicy mala, peppery bak kut teh and a delightfully appetising tom yum option.

Gather your burger loving friends and get your hands dirty at Amsterdam's famous burger joint on Duxton Hill. The Dutch Cheese Burger ($22.50) is a foolproof combi, where a juicy beef patty is topped with red wine onions, marinated tomato and gherkins will satisfy. The unique Lamb Burger ($21) that sees perfectly-done meat doused in their signature tangy homemade sauce will also satisfy. Look forward to crisp sesame burger buns sourced from Tiong Bahru Bakery!
