Food was still good but the plating and serving wasn't on par as per previous visits.
Cheap and good. My son says this better than the Kanshoku Ramen next door. Dry truffle ramen with karage n green tea set, topped up with ajitama.
Ordered the try truffle ramen set which came with gyoza n a beverage. Totals up to $13.55. Will come again to try the spicy tonkatsu ramen.
First time coming to Genki Sushi with no queue at all. Only 2 tables occupied. Spent total of $42.73 on 10 plates and 2 beverages.
Ordered 1x truffle dry ramen with extra ajitama (2 halves of the Soft-Centered Eggs) n a bottled mineral water for $10.05. Taste great. Not that much diff from the Kanshoku Ramen Bar in terms of taste but definitely cheaper by half. Coming back.
Ordered Carborana Inaniwa Udon. I like it. ALOT. I like the very creamy sauce n springy Udon. Chocolate Parfait was good as well.. Loves the diff texture from the various layers. Paid $28.25 in all. A very enjoyable Me Time.
Ordered 13 plates n 2 drinks for 1 adult, 2 kids and paid $54.95.
Ordered total of 15 plates (1adult, 1 kid) for $33.14 with 5% discount upon signing up for membership.
Somehow I felt the portion is getting smaller even the bowl they used. Still my son's all time fav. Paid $19.90 for it, dun think it's worth it.
OK. I'm sick of this place. My son's always back for the dry Truffle Ramen. It's good. Be it the ultimate truffle taste, the springy noodle, the chewy slightly fatty char siew or the perfectly done egg. But too much is too much.
