I thought I knew how marshmallows tasted and then I paid $2 for this one and boy oh boy was I amazed. Torched with orange and cinnamon, this achieves a sweet overall taste with a light citrus notes. The char on it also meant that the exteriors were crusty, a true surprise and very worth the 2 bucks!
Paid this price for 225g of steak at Burnt Ends. The steak came lightly salted with a side of light greens. My only regret was ordering medium when I should have ordered a medium rare 🙊 other than that I think this is one dish that you should order if you love your steak!
Ah the one dish that every restaurant is made famous for! For burnt ends, it’d be this burger. Think airy and fluffy buns with a generous amount of tender, pulled pork within with a nice marination.
This dish leaned towards the slightly saltier side but it’s packed full of flavours from the beef marmalade. The pickles and chives atop adds on another crunchy texture and different dimension to the overall taste profile of this unique dish!
This is quite a smart and innovative dish actually. Who knew that eggplant can be cooked this way? With a crispy, salted batter that coats the eggplant, you’ll finish this snack sooner than you think! The miso flavour is quite pronounced so even haters of eggplants may give this a thumbs up.
This was AMAZING! Quite literally the best chicken I’ve ever eaten in my life. In terms of the texture, it’s nicely grilled with a slightly crusty skin. Bite within and you get your super tender and not too oily meat. The winning formula tho is that CREMA which boasts of citrus notes, a very light tangy surprise to complement the chicken! PLEASE try this if it’s on the menu!
A gargantuan amount of chives/spring onions sprinkled atop fish roe nicely spreaded on a thin Italian breadstick - loved the crispy breadstick and the lightly salted fish roe. Great as a pre-main snack!
