We had the pistachio rose & chocolate cakes with honey yuzu & jujube teas. Pistachio rose was light & fragrant, while the other one was chocolatey & rich 👍🏻

Healthy grain bowls at Kara, by Sogurt. Beautifully crafted and presented. And you still can get yogurt ice cream after that!

SONS makes its own sausages. 3-Meat Sausage, Broccoletti & Mustard Sauce ($29) is a new main that features its housemade sausage packed with pork, beef and lamb, seasoned with herbs and pepper. Served sizzling hot, what first hit us was the mouthwatering, intense aroma of freshly grated parmesan cheese wafting from the hot pan. I like the way this dish is being executed, which stands out from a regular sausage recipe.

To be honest, I was semi-skeptical about Grids & Circles as the menu looks super healthy (yes I have a somewhat unhealthy palate)😛 But since I have been overeating this week and there is a one-for-one deal on Burpple Beyond, why not? The Oyako Pan ($15) exceeded my expectations! Tender and juicy chicken thigh cooked in teriyaki sauce, silky scrambled eggs and Asian salad dressed in kombu mayo are served atop English muffins - the mayo and teriyaki sauce complemented each other and it was surprisingly tasty. For records, Oyako Pan is served with mixed greens as well but I replaced mine with a 2nd serving of chips:P My friend had Salmon Ochasuke ($16) which comprises of a pan-fried salmon fillet on top of rice, white bait, puff rice and cherry tomatoes. You have to pour the bacon genmaicha dashi broth over the rice to complete the porridge. The flavours are clean and subtle, but not bland. The cafe, from its decor to utensils to vibes, is comfortable and relaxing. Not a bad choice if you wish to get away from the crowd for a mental and gastronomical detox.

coffee was good . croissant and cake were just nice . atmosphere and ambience were amazing , you will feel right at home . super spacious and chill .

Portion was a small for the price. Alfresco seating but good for small groups and intimate talks because it wasn’t crowded when I visited on a Sunday afternoon.

Edges of bread was all burnt black and inedible , though the inside is nice and soft . Not sure how come they still served it .
They don’t have many sweet offerings .
I find Micro much better in terms of quality and variety .

Was expecting the usual waffle but pleasantly surprised with the burst of flavour and textures that came with the tried and tested combi of peanut butter & jelly. Tartness of homemade berry jam ensured that the PB was not too heavy or sweet. The crisp waffle was just nice in terms of density, while the roasted oats & sunflower seeds added crunch to the combi. One of the best waffles I’ve had.

Loved how the angel hair pasta really absorbed all the flavours of the dish! Also came with three huge prawns and many clams.

Super tender pork belly slices with melt-in-the-mouth fat, punchy kimchi slices and egg. Wish they used better bread, but it’s hard to go wrong with this combination. Can be a little too indulgent (tho great if you’re on a keto diet), so it’s probably better to share this with someone else.

Succulent lobster mayo filling sandwiched in a toasted sweet milk bun. Comes with spiral fries and salad on the side😋
