Unfortunately due to COVID-19, the restaurant is serving ala carte buffet instead. This brings down the variety of food one gets to sample. The menu comes with cold cuts and seafood starters. One risotto dish, some meat dishes and dessert/cheese. You don’t get to choose what you want to eat, they will serve you a predetermined plate of food for each course but you’re welcome to ask for seconds.
This is the dessert plate. I love the tiramisu, chocolate tart and the brownie like cake.
Located inside Capitol piazza, the servers are really friendly, service is on point for a casual tapas joint.
Not the best tapas restaurant in terms of taste but overall food quality is good coupled with the outstanding services, I can understand why those seats are being filled on a weekday night.
We got a table on the side where we can take in a birds eye view of Sentosa and the sea.
Food was unfortunately pretty average over here and the only dish that was surprisingly tastier for us was the pasta. Even though it came looking like speghetti drenched in soup sauce. The sauce turned out light and not overly creamy.
Salad was passable as a canteen style salad and the pork ribs were not as tender as we’ve hoped for.
Requested for medium and the steak came perfectly pink and not bloody. Each bite has a savoury meatiness to it with just the right amount of fat.
The endive salad on the side cuts down on the oiliness of the meat.
Fantastic view from Skai.
Will come back again!
Over looking the Seletar airport runway, this restaurant in the park is an awesome place for a meal.
We loved their eggs benedict. Perfectly poached eggs on toasted bread paired with smoked salmon and hollandaise sauce.
One thing to note, they don’t do brunch menu. Be here before 1130am for breakfast or after 12pm for lunch.
Part of the restaurant week menu.
My three course lunch ($38) consisted of the following
1. Lime Coconut Kingfish
2. Spiced Local Duck Breast
3. Salted Plum Panna Cotta
The meal start off with their signature cheese bread which I love! Happy to find out it’s available on Webuy app now!
I thoroughly enjoy my meal here at the Spot. With its spacious settings, innovative fusion menu and good portion sizes, I will be definitely be coming back!
Australian Whiskey-aged Rangers Valley Wagyu tomahawk ($158)
Tasty and good enough for 2 very hungry people, otherwise 3 can share the plate.
There’s a free-flow wine promotion during Sunday to Thursday at $18 per head. Great value!
Pretty dish and I was in the mood for some duck!
Rebel rebel uses some interesting ingredients. This is their pig head tagliatelle and I have to say it’s delicious.
Beautiful plating.
This one Michelin Star restaurant truly deserves all the accolades. Fantastic beef steak and macoroni.
Awesome platter. There’s rillette, gougeres, cheese and cold cut. All these for just $80, good for 4-5 people to share.
Lovely place and Geoffrey is a great host. Definitely will return.
It’s the chef’s weekend special. Thinly sliced swordfish carpaccio topped with avocado and tomato salsa . Very delectable!
