The pork chop here was juicy and tasty. Paired perfectly with the red wine sauce. It’s definitely worth going back for at this price point with amazing service staff.

Managed to squeeze in a meal before no dining in restriction sets in again. One of my favourite pasta from Da Paolo, tagliatelle al granchio. Homemade egg pasta mixed with crab meat, tomatoes, cream, parmigiano reggiano and a dash of vodka.

We tried the veal ravioli that were pretty tasty as well. Opted to sit outdoors and were lucky that it’s pretty breezy.

Thoroughly enjoyed Skirt’s grazing menu that comes with the following :

Freshly baked focaccia and sourdough
Amuse bousche of beef tartare
Starters consisting of,
Grilled pedron peppers and
Grilled crawfish
Palette cleanser : a shooter of apple + bourbon whiskey
Main course of a flat iron steak and grilled brocollini (we ordered extra mashed pots and lobster Mac n cheese)
Chocolate dessert

Portions were hearty and we left happy.

All round hit. Swiss fine dining in a beautiful setting.

Rosti with chicken ragout
Pork medallion with morel cream sauce
Chicken Cordon Bleu
Meringues with gruyere double cream and berry sauce
Blueberry tart

Every item is delicious with the pork medallion and meringues as stand out

Total bill for two with 4 glasses of wine came up to $224. Pretty good pricing for fine food and setting I would say.

Wonderful view on top of ION Orchard. This place specialises in Argentinian steaks.

We ordered the 1kg OP rib ($210) to share among 4 girls. Which is more than enough if you also ordered starters.

Taste of the steak itself wasn’t bad but also not spectacular either. There are better steaks around. Come for the view and ambience.

Order this as an appetiser, you can order it as a main which will come with fries too at a bigger portion ($34)

One of the best tartare I’ve had in Singapore. The atmosphere of the place is lively, there’s even a pretty al fresco area available for dining.

Part of the 3 course set lunch menu (32++) Which comes with a starter and dessert.

Snapper is pan fried till the skin is crispy and the flesh is cooked till flaky without being dry.

Great choice for lunch around DUO.

Part of the incredibly worth it restaurant week menu where there’s also an appetiser and dessert for just $38++.

Very rare to find cordon bleu made from veal as most people tend to just make it with chicken. The piece stuffed with cheese and ham is fried to perfection. Truly tasty dish and well put together with the potato cucumber salad and cranberry sauce.

Always pick outdoor seats overlooking the sea. Good spot for dates. Food is tasty though menu is relatively small.

Service was attentive. One of our favourite spots for Italian food.

Venue is nice on the second floor with view over the yachts in Keppel Bay. It’s a relatively small restaurant and is best to make reservation in advance. Group of four people can request for the table next to the window.

Their food feels very homey and is a tad expensive for what it is. I like the tiramisu and chocolate gelato.

We ordered the set lunch menu and have to top up money to order this as a main. The restaurant is generous with their truffles shavings and the pasta was a pretty big portion too.

It’s overall a good dish just not something I will want to go back for as I’m not the biggest fan of truffles shavings.

Unfortunately due to COVID-19, the restaurant is serving ala carte buffet instead. This brings down the variety of food one gets to sample. The menu comes with cold cuts and seafood starters. One risotto dish, some meat dishes and dessert/cheese. You don’t get to choose what you want to eat, they will serve you a predetermined plate of food for each course but you’re welcome to ask for seconds.

This is the dessert plate. I love the tiramisu, chocolate tart and the brownie like cake.
