On appearance wise, the noodles look delectable and generous in sauce. If you’re afraid of spiciness like me, rest assured that the hokkien mee comes with chili on the side so you can avoid the chili if you want. Or take a tiny taste of the chili like I did, and I’m pleased to say that the chili was hardly any kick for me and added a little kick to the noodles.
On the first bite alone, I could definitely taste the charcoal or wok hei taste in the noodles. The noodles was soft, wet and the sauce was tasty. The prawns were sizable and juicy. I definitely think the prawns were pretty decent.
Overall I would think it made a pretty decent meal and it seems like most people who come here are for the prawn noodles as well. PS: there was a queue but we got our noodles really quickly and didn’t have to wait for long.
