So thankful they’ve opened an outlet at Holland Village which is more accessible compared to the other outlets.
I love their spread as it wasn’t too sweet yet thick enough. Their bagel was so good.

Ya Kun is my go to for traditional toast. I love their well toasted bread as it has a slight sweetness to it. Together with their peanut butter and kaya, it makes you want more. Their coffee is really good and consistent.

Had iced Hojicha karigane ($5.80), 1925 Oolong ($6.80) and Matcha cake ($7.80).
This is really the place to go for a light and satisfying dessert.
The cake wasn’t too sweet and was really light. It doesn’t make your jelat as everything balances out well.
The Hojicha has a really light roasted fragrant and it was really smooth.
1925 oolong was really the best oolong I’ve drunk. It was light, fragrant and really smooth. The taste of oolong was really balanced without it being too overpowering. Will definitely come back again! 10/10

Cake was a tad too light as I couldn’t taste much of the hojicha. However what amazes me was that they used dark chocolate as the topping. It was definitely a good choice as it isn’t sweet.
The ambience was definitely a plus point to chill. It was well decorated and the traditional Japanese design. Will come back again! 7.0/10

Had the Burpple deal breakfast set which allows me to get total 6 breads + 2 bottles of soy milk for $6.
Distinct garlic taste with soft and pillow like bread. Honestly only worth with the Burpple deal otherwise it’s a little pricey. 6.0/10

This was way too sweet and the taste of matcha was way too faint. Prefer the normal croissant to this as the normal one was flaky, buttery and extremely good. 5.0/10

Flaky, buttery filled with chocolate every bite. Love it! The ambience of the place is great too! 7.0/10

Distinct garlic taste with soft and pillow like bread. Worth paying to try once but doubt I’ll buy it again considering there are other places that sells good bread at a cheaper price. 6.0/10

Croissants were buttery and light, with very crispy and flaky skin. The fragrance of the butter was evident and the flour itself is imported from France, which makes it stands out among other places which sells croissants. 6.5/10

If there’s a old town white coffee outlet near my place, I’ll eat their toast everyday!
Crispy, light and slightly sweet toast paired with their kaya and butter is just so complementing! 7.0/10

Cheap and good toast set. Came with 2 soft boiled eggs, 2 slices of toasts and coffee or tea! I love brown sugar toast as it’s definitely more tasty than white bread. 7.0/10

Definitely need no introduction as it’s hands down the best kaya butter toast set. Lightly charred bread with their kaya and generous butter. 7.0/10
