Vastly different experience from what I encountered at Beauty In The Pot @Centrepoint 1-2 months back!

Despite hearing at least 4-5 times during our entire visit, servers were really friendly and nice during the song session making it really a pleasant surprise for the diners.

Ordered half portion as I am a super kelp fan!

Love the freshness of the kelp!

This is our 1st visit to HDL @PLQ after our last HDL at 313 approx 2-3 years ago. Our last experience wasn't fantastic so we were really impressed by the superb service this time round.

Upon seated, we were greeted by our "personal" server. Despite having to service the tables in our section, our server - 晓红 was very friendly,attentive and helpful! We requested her to help us prepare the HDL signature sauce (without adding beef) and it taste really good! Understand that this sauve can be used as soup base too.

After watching a no. of youtubers' videos,we opt for 2 clear water soup base which is $0 charge, 1 tomato and 1 mala. Another server helped us to DIY a soup base which taste really good!

Overall experience was simply thumbs up esp. cuz of our server! Do order the handmade noodle which is handpulled on the spot as the perf. is diff. from wad I experienced previously.

PS: Regret not trusting the various youtuber's advices not to order the mala soup base as it is quite tasteless,spicy and very oily. So we ended up using our last clear soup to wash off the oil from the mala.
