The Tori Chasu Ramen boast a thick chicken broth, with a very flavourful chicken chasiu. Even the black fungus was satisfyingly crunchy. The cheesy gyoza ($6.80 for 4 pieces) was rather expensive as it was so small, but at least it was decent. Good to see that this is a halal-certified restaurant as well!

Expect traditional Japanese classics priced affordably at this cozy and intimate restaurant along Pekin Street. Their signature Hokkai Chirashi ($34.80) comes with fresh slices of salmon sashimi, hotate, kani and tamago atop a bed of fluffy Japanese rice! Other note-wrothy dishes include their Bara Chirashi ($26.80) and Chirashi Salmon Ikura ($25.80) with heaps of fresh ikura, perfectly satisfying for ikura lovers everywhere.

Bread was done buttery with a good crunch, but we were disappointed with the amount of cheese this came with - Missed the oozy filling we had the last time 😔Would have liked better seasoned mushrooms too.

Serving up healthy poke bowls by day and indulgent bar grub by night, booze off into the night with craft beers, cheese burgers and pastas at this buzzy restobar in Esplanade Mall. Catch Burppler Coleats 🍟 raving about the Chicken Burger ($25), naming it "the best on the menu" with a fried Southern-spiced chicken thigh in 3 cheese sauce ranch stuffed in a fluffy burger bun and served with a side of curly fries. Other must-orders include the Classic Carbonara ($18), Salmon Rice Bowl ($25) and Fish n' Chips ($18).

Super duper good curry noodles!! Tasted exactly like those i had in Malaysia as a child/teen. Definitely do come down and try, especially if you are craving for that Malaysian taste. They also have 干捞面 (aka traditional malaysian breakfast food)!!

Located in Far East Square in Chinatown, this food kiosk serves up quinoa bowls at wallet-friendly prices. Choose from a selection of mains and base, such as their Honey Soy Chicken ($8.90), Baked Salmon ($10.40) or Portobello Mushroom + Cheese ($8.90) over your choice of base — Organic Quinoa + Brown Rice, Wholewheat Pasta or Romaine Lettuce for the calorie conscious. Complete your box with their wide array of toppings and dressings, before completing your meal with a Kombucha ($3) to boost your gut health!
