The Tori Chasu Ramen boast a thick chicken broth, with a very flavourful chicken chasiu. Even the black fungus was satisfyingly crunchy. The cheesy gyoza ($6.80 for 4 pieces) was rather expensive as it was so small, but at least it was decent. Good to see that this is a halal-certified restaurant as well!
Expect traditional Japanese classics priced affordably at this cozy and intimate restaurant along Pekin Street. Their signature Hokkai Chirashi ($34.80) comes with fresh slices of salmon sashimi, hotate, kani and tamago atop a bed of fluffy Japanese rice! Other note-wrothy dishes include their Bara Chirashi ($26.80) and Chirashi Salmon Ikura ($25.80) with heaps of fresh ikura, perfectly satisfying for ikura lovers everywhere.

Bread was done buttery with a good crunch, but we were disappointed with the amount of cheese this came with - Missed the oozy filling we had the last time 😔Would have liked better seasoned mushrooms too.

Super duper good curry noodles!! Tasted exactly like those i had in Malaysia as a child/teen. Definitely do come down and try, especially if you are craving for that Malaysian taste. They also have 干捞面 (aka traditional malaysian breakfast food)!!
