This was my to-go flavour here because I find the rest of their flavours to be quite subtle and mild (fans of BoP may like M&M). It used to taste like salted butter + gula melaka but now it tasted like caramel ice cream instead. I asked if they had changed the recipe (they did! 🤬)

The best thing about M&M was their cone because it’s crunchy, buttery and savoury. However, I also thought it tasted less savoury (less yummy to me) than before?! Anyway, this was still better than the cone from BoP.

Peas, capers, lemon aioli, mint, ricotta, bechamel.

Love their weekend specials, especially their savoury and sweet danishes - must get! The peas were so fresh and the flavours were so refreshing! I was really surprised I enjoyed this so much.

Their bakes are quite expensive (this danish is actually quite small in size) but I’m hooked and can’t help going once a month to get their weekend specials which changes monthly.

2nd time trying this and I still don’t get the hype.

I am underwhelmed by both the texture and taste of both the gelato (seems more like ice cream than gelato to me anyway) and the cone. Basil taste like milk or vanilla with very mild herbaceous undertone - a very forgettable flavour. Cone is not crispy enough and flavour wise: nothing to shout about. Anothershopdoesamuchx3bettercone.

All their flavours are quite mild and subtle; the texture of their gelato is light and creamy. So it may appeal to those who likes their ice cream like that.

To be fair, I have to say I’m not a fan of fruity/floral flavours in general so most of their flavours do not appeal to me anyway.

2 flavours in a cup; I got 3 flavours.

Love the texture of their gelato. It is dense, thick, sticky and the flavours really came through in all 3. Dark chocolate and pistachio are rich, intense, yet not too gelat and not too sweet - unlike many others. Black sesame taste just like the black sesame in tangyuan - along with the grounded black sesame texture.

I was shameless and tried 6 flavours 😶and I really love these 3. Definitely one of the best dark chocolate, pistachio and black sesame gelato around.

Fresh fruits (banana, blueberry, strawberry, dragonfruit), granola, goji berries, cocoa nibs, coconut shavings, almond butter.

I like that:
1. Their fruit bowl comes with nut butter that I do not have to pay extra for.
2. Taste is always consistent - it taste the same every single time.
3. Acai is NOT: diluted, too icy, too bananey or too much like sour blueberries.
4. They are generous with the ingredients. I get a layer of nut butter, granola and banana in the middle too.
5. Fruits are not diced too finely

If only the acai is less sweet. Argh. It is not so obvious when you eat it with the other ingredients but it is quite sweet when you eat it on its own.

My fav used to be Haakon but the last 2 times I went it taste different?!

Acai with buckinis, bananas, blueberries, cacao nibs, chia pudding, peanut butter.

I like the generous portion of acai compared to similarly priced bowls at other acai places.

Their acai is made with a blend of acai, apples, watermelon, lemon and medijool dates. Not a fan of the taste of the acai this time though. Taste subtle/diluted and didn’t enjoy the parts that I could taste the dates.

Pistachio: Nutty, creamy, full of pistachio flavour without that artificial flavour and not sweet. Solid classic flavour done really well.

Sakura smoke, artichoke & pear compote: The smokey flavour is really strong - almost savoury smoked meat like. It is not as creamy as the other 2 flavours. So hard to describe the flavours I may have to eat it again 🤭

Kyoto Shizo & yuzu jelly (not pictured): Leafy earthy taste but with bits of refreshing tangy yuzu jelly in between - sounds strange but it works! This gelato is also creamy.

All of their flavours are not too sweet. They are definitely not your run of the mill flavours that you feel meh~ about. I’m really impressed and will go back to try more flavours.

Soursop mint is refreshing, fruity, less creamy than their other gelatos but still lightly creamy unlike normal sorbet. I can taste the soursop and there is no toothpaste mint taste (so no worries there).

Seasalt gula jawa is creamy, salty and tasted like gula melaka with salted butter. I prefer the soursop mint at first but this flavour grew on me and I end up loving this more - I think. Try this if you are a fan of the sweet and savoury combination in your dessert.

The cone is fantastic. I always order my ice cream in a cup because cone is just extra unnecessary calories right? But this cone is savoury, buttery and complements the sweetness from the ice cream. I actually finished the ice cream first and then ate the remaining cone on it’s own. It’s that good.

I will be back to try other flavours.

Blue Milk: Taste like salted milk ice cream. The ice cream was creamy - not super gao and yet not too light. I like this flavour.

Despicable: Banana ice cream with pieces of walnut and brownie. Very banana-y. Didn’t enjoy the brownie - it tasted average but then I have high standards for brownie - and didn’t enjoy the banana flavour. Not a fan.

I like that their ice cream are creamy and not too sweet. Good place to go for a sweet treat after dinner. Will try other flavours the next time I’m around the area.

Large - $12.90, Small -$7.90. Acai with chia seed parfait, granola, coconut flakes, blueberries, seasonal fruits (banana, strawberries, mango, kiwi, dragonfruit)

The granola adds a nice crunch and I like that they put fruits on the bottom too below the chia seed parfait. Definitely enough fruits to go with every bite. I like the consistency of their Acai. Not too icy or watery.

Large is more than x2 the serving of small. Small is tiny. Not enough to satisfy the craving. Just get the large. 😂

Semi expensive indulgence but I’ll be back.

A booth outside orchid garden in botanic garden. Açai with chia pudding, buckini, blueberries, banana, cocoa nibs, natural peanut butter.

I like the consistency of the açai. It was not too icy or watery and actually tasted like blueberry sorbet. At $9, you get a pretty big portion. I enjoyed this topping combination and there are definitely enough toppings to go with the açai.

One of the better açai bowls in Singapore. Will be back.
