Lobster

Aaaand in the case of 𝙇𝙤𝙗𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙈𝙖𝙘 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘾𝙝𝙚𝙚𝙨𝙚 (~$16), I’m honestly on the fence about this one. Don’t be expecting a huge portion of this, it was pretty small, but pleasantly filled with actual chunks (not TINY shreds) of lobster. For a Mac and Cheese, it wasn’t cloyingly unsettling and cheesey, which your stomach would probably thank you for. 😶

Couldn’t say the same for the 𝙇𝙤𝙗𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙍𝙤𝙡𝙡 (~$26), which was a lil stale when it arrived. But I forgot all about that when I dipped (more like dunked) the brioche roll into the garlic butter— o m g. Hand me a lifetime supply of THIS please.🥺

Rewarded myself for surviving CB this long (even though realistically, I’ve been doing nothing) with a 𝙊𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙇𝙤𝙗𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧 (~$53.50). Still warm when it arrived, this steamed boi survived the delivery well.🦞🦞

Slightly on the small side and not as flavourful as I’d have liked it to be, but the Grilled Maine Lobster (~$60) was a sight for sore eyes. The bright red sauce by the side added a tangy flavour to the lobster, saving it from being too bland 😋 What filled me up was actually the barley and corn risotto though, thick and mushy. .

Tried the Original Lobster (~$65) and while it was HUGE. It was cracked nicely so it wasn’t a struggle to eat, which was def a plus 😽 But I thought it was really salty though, or maybe it was just the piece I took!

After months (and I really mean months) of wanting to eat this (and a 45 min wait later), I finally managed to try the highly raved about Original Lobster Roll (~$40) 🦞 and boy, it was yuMZ.

Think succulent lobster pieces mixed with a bit of mayo, sandwiched in between a buttered grilled roll 🥐 Thought the roll could’ve been buttered more heavily and grilled longer though, as it lacked the buttery-ness of a typical brioche bun.

That being said, THE GARLIC BUTTER SAUCE!!! Perfect ratio of creamy and silky without being too heavy, I finished the whole pot bc it was just that good 👌🏻Fries were crisp and deep fried, though nothing amazing.
