Got the pistachio with milk, and hazelnut chocolate flavours. Both were really good. Also tried my friend's pistachio and dark chocolate flavours which were also really good. Probably one of my favourite gelatos, even after trying so many others in Rome.

Hugely popular, this pizza chain was highly recommended to me by several people. Unfortunately, I'm probably spoilt by all the good pizzas we can find in Singapore. I found it pretty average. The pizza dough was fluffy, but taste-wise, the tomato sauce and cheese were rather bland.

Opened by Youtube's "Cupcake Jemma", this bakery has very cute pastel decor and trays of assorted baked goods. My friend and I shared the biscoff rocky road, which is made with speculoos white chocolate, lotus caramelised biscuit pieces and mini marshmallows. I loved that it was sinful without being too sweet, and how it was creamy, crunchy and chewy all at once.

Fluffy buns, a juicy beef patty, with cheddar cheese, tomatoes, wild rocket, mustard, relish, black pepper, mayo and caramelised onions. They really take pride in their burgers! They shared with us how they get fresh bread delivered every morning, and go early to marinate their minced beef before opening for business. All the flavours were so well balanced. Eating this is a happy mess.

Seriously not worth the hype. The doughnut was cold, there was so little cream inside (even though they make it look like it's overflowing) and it wasn't tasty? The only positive thing was the fluffiness of the bread.

A fuss-free takeaway pasta concept. You can choose from 3 types of pasta, 6 types of sauces and 2 sizes. Prices are very reasonable for the quantity and quality. I got the large bolognese with rigatoni. While there wasn't a lot of minced beef, the sauce was very flavourful (spot the diced onions!) and I love that they prepare it on the spot for you, unlike many other lunchtime deals.

We went to Chinatown and had... Japanese food. 😂 We really enjoyed the food at this Japanese eatery, especially after not having Asian food for so long!
Their portions are HUGE. This diameter of this plate was almost twice the size of my hand. Food quality and taste was not bad too! Similar components you'd get from a Kopitiam Japanese stall, but better quality, tasty and massive. Highly recommend when you're near Chinatown.

Still haven't braved the snaking queues to try this in Singapore, but I tried the Shroom Burger that comes with a crispy fried portobello mushroom with cheese filling. I daresay I much preferred the fried cheesy mushroom to the beef patty, which was dry. Their crinkle cut fries, while not life-changing, were a nice companion to the meal.
