$3.80 Char siew CCF
- Not my favourite handmade ccf skin. Tastes sweet somehow. Slightly thicker than what I would prefer.
- Sauce is okay, but don't quite like the chilli

$3.80 Lontong CCF
- Sounds very interesting but can't say I like it
- Comes with long beans, cabbage, carrots and legit lontong sauce

NOTES:
- New shop with a queue

PRICE: $3.50

WAITING TIME: There's always a queue during lunchtime. But we went late at 2pm on a weekday so it was only a 5-min waiting time.

REMARKS:
- WOK HEI GAO GAO
- The wok hei was no joke. Which also meant I was very busy picking out the many many bits of char away.
- Moist and super flavourful
- Comes with pork lard, chinese sausage, fishcake
- We opted for no bean sprouts and no cockles

WILL WE RETURN? Have been eating this quite a number of times!

PRICE: $3

WAITING TIME: Queued for half an hour on a Monday at 1pm

REMARKS:
- Sheng mian soup's soup was more flavourful than the small bowls of soup accompanying the dry sheng mian
- Found the mian fen guo too thick for our liking
- *Favourite* Sheng mian dry: flavourful seasoning, comes with big prawn and bits of pork meat, texture of noodles was really nice and special -- not your usual soft 'you mian'
- They are open on Mondays!

WILL WE RETURN? Definitely. $3 for this lovely bowl of noodles is so worth it.

PRICE: $3

WAITING TIME: Very fast

REMARKS:
- Friendly uncle
- Generous portion
- Got tanghoon this time and it was very flavourful albeit oily

WILL WE RETURN? YES

STALL: #01-12

PRICE: $5

WAIT TIME: 8 min on a Saturday around 5.30pm

WOK HEI: Not at all

FRIED PORK LARD: NOPE :(

PRAWNS: 4

TYPE OF NOODLES: Yellow mee and thin beehoon

TYPE OF CHILLI: I like this chilli! Spicy, tangy, goes well with the noodles unlike sambal chilli.

WILL WE RETURN? Mmmmmm...definitely not one of our top 3 favourite hokkien prawn mee in our hood

WAITING TIME: Less than 3 mins on a weekday lunchtime

REMARKS:
- Generous portion for this price
- Lots of crispy beancurd sheets (can also be purchased at $2 a bag)
- Drowning in too much of the sauce though

PRICE: $3

WAITING TIME: ~5 mins on a weekday lunchtime

REMARKS:
- no cockles
- VERY VERY VERY GARLICKY -- he likes it but it's a little too garlicky for me to taste the actual sweetness of the CKT
- Manned by an old couple in the middle row; stall also sells Portuguese egg tarts in a hot oven

WAITING TIME: 10 mins on a weekday afternoon

PRAWNS: 2

SOTONG: Yes

FRIED PORK LARD: not much

WOK HEI: No

NOODLES TYPE: Yellow mee with thick beehoon

REMARKS:
- Couldn't stop smiling, praising it, nodding my head and going "mmmm" and "wahhh" while devouring this
- we both LOVE it

PRICE: $3/4 for black/white carrot cake
(+$0.20 for takeaway)

WAITING TIME: Under 5 minutes when we went on a Friday morning around 11am

REMARKS:
- Really generous serving size! $3 doesn't usually get you this much carrot cake elsewhere
- Crispy top layer!
- Generous with the amount of egg too!
- Very compatible chilli
- Not oily!
- Not much of chye poh though

WILL WE EAT THIS AGAIN? Yes

PRICE: $10

WAITING TIME: It's the stall with the longest queue whenever we visit in the evening. Visited at 3.30pm on a weekday this time round so there was no queue.

REMARKS:
- Affordable price of $10 for all these, considering that there are 3 meat dishes out of 5
- Every dish here was good, esp the meats
- Shall order rice instead of porridge next time cos it goes better with the curry and braised meat sauce
