Burgers ๐
If youโre looking for some quality Korean-inspired burgers, check out Burger+. Quality is assured here despite its casual, fast food setting. Think potato buns and premium American beef patties and proper American cheese.
What impressed me is that those soft and fluffy potato buns are made in-house daily. And the patties are well-seasoned, meaty and juicy. Each patty is made using a blend of cuts and weighs about 130g.
Korean Bulgogi Beef Burger ($13.80). Each patty is glazed with bulgogi sauce and thereโs a good amount of bulgogi mayonnaise. Youโd get some baby romaine lettuce and onions as your greens. I felt the bulgogi sauce flavour didnโt stand out as it was not very sweet.
Avocado Bacon Cheeseburger ($13.80). A bacon cheeseburger with tomato, avocado, baby romaine lettuce and homemade B+ sauce. Very good combination as the avocado adds a creamy touch to the burger.
Their fried chicken is pretty solid and Iโll share my thoughts in a separate post.

Iโm always up for a good burger and decided to head down to Three Buns many years after hearing about this place. ๐
They use soft artisan Demi brioche buns (as with most atas burger joints). Within the two buns is a Tasmanian Vintage beef patty together with the rest of the condiments. The condiments and sauces are Cheshire cheddar, watermelon relish, fried shallots, onion purรฉe and Three Islands mayonnaise. I added some streaky bacon ($6++) to bring out extra flavour as what I always do with my orders.
Having heard so much rave reviews about this place, the burgers here definitely hit the right spot and live up to its popularity. The burger was irresistible with the juicy, flavourful beef patties. The Bun DMC was certainly unique with the Indonesian influence in the condiments.
Recently checked out @fiveguyssingapore at PS as the queue wasnโt too long. Known for its juicy burgers with customisable toppings, crispy hand-cut fries and peanuts, it certainly didnโt disappoint. I had the bacon cheeseburger ($17) and went โall the wayโ (sans grilled mushrooms) for toppings plus jalapeรฑo and hot sauce, as itโs my usual combination when I had it back in London. The fries ($6-11) taste great when eaten with malt vinegar.
New fast food place on the block ๐ Burgers are not bad and love how the onion rings here are hand cut and not those frozen stuff.
