The supposed insane queue at A&W Jewel was very manageable when BBF (best buddy forever) and I arrived at 11am+ on a weekday and we got our seats very comfortably. Both of us ordered the Golden Aroma Chicken meal which came with 2 pieces of fried chicken, curly fries and root beer. I personally prefer A&W’s rendition of fried chicken to that of KFC’ hot & crispy version. The former’s batter is not as thick and greasy as that of KFC’s. The curly fries and root beer tasted as they were meant to be haha though BBF seemed enamoured with the root beer as she took a solo shot of it lol. Anyway am glad A&W is back on our shores!

It would be good if chicken thigh is used instead of chicken breast. The burger itself is rather substantial so it gets rather dry after a while. The curly fries with beef sauce tasted just as it was supposed to be haha.
