It was our second visit here and am super super glad we tried out the cone this time 🍦 We usually opt for cups over cones because it’s quite a hassle but to our surprise it was not a messy experience at all - the cone was really crispy and it comes off cleanly when you bite it off! In fact it remained crispy even when the ice cream started to melt - most cones would turn slightly soggy by then but this was really robust and we could still crunch on it all the way to the last bite 😋 It had really unique buttery undertones that blended so well with their Brown Butter Sage. Don’t think we’ve enjoyed an ice cream cone this much in our lives 😂

In other news, we managed to sample more flavours at the parlour this time so if you’re looking for a recommendation, they have two awesome kinds of Pistachio (the Classic and the Roasted) 🥜 and a surprising harmony of sweet and sour gelato with their Rhubarb Buttermilk, whereas the Brown Butter Sage was a delightful brown sugar-like dessert. The Lavender wasn’t spectacular, but it was very pleasant to taste and we think it would go really well with the cone 🤤

Definitely great #fortheGram!!!! Was a teeny bit disappointed to find that the bottle was made of plastic, because it looks like it’s made of glass in the pictures 😅 Flavour-wise, the tea was pretty decent and it went really well with the panna cotta base! Reminded us a little of Gongcha’s Milk Tea with Pudding, just that the Panna Cotta was much sweeter, silkier, and occupied less room in the bottle to make more room for the tea 😂

Not sure if it’s worth $7.50 and the slightly far walk from the MRT (but hey, you gotta work for your sugar right!) but wouldn’t mind returning to try their Strawberry Latte with Panna Cotta ($8.50) 🍓 or their Cheese Foam series (~$5-6) too 🧀

P.S. It’s Jay Chou endorsed so if you are a fan, its worth a shot regardless of the reviews 😉

We were pleasantly delighted by the sleek minimalist interior - and even more so by the Gelato! 🍨 We asked the staff for flavour recommendations and this was the first and only flavour that we tried; didn’t take long to decide! This flavour was delightfully burnt - not overpoweringly, as certain versions of Burnt Caramel can be - with some fun, gritty bits in it (as you can see from the speckles in the photo), which gave it depth in both flavour and texture 😋

Did not manage to try their coffee but we do think this flavour would be paired perfectly with a latte or cappuccino ☕️ Would definitely return to taste the rest of their flavours - heard the group at the table next to ours raving about the Rhubarb Buttermilk and the staff also recommended the Hazelnut or Chocolate Sorbet from their selection, if you’re looking for more options!
