One for one set lunch was very worth it (: $17 for two sets including miso soup and a drink! Food was great ( filling ) and the ambience was awesome. It’s a work-space area and so pretty decorated!

Made it to @benjaminbarkercafe which is located at Orchard Cineleisure, where the old B Burger used to be! The space is so gorgeous & screams insta-worthy from possibly every angle.

Apart from the gorgeous interior, they also serve up pretty decent brunch items!

We had the BB Benedict ($15), Laksa Pasta ($19) & BB Cafe Brunch ($21) with a side of Mentaiko Fries ($13) to share.

If you’re starving or have a really huge appetite, I’d recommend the BB Cafe Brunch, because it came as a massive pile and will definitely save your starving belly. Go for the BB Ben if you’d like to play safe cause you’d definitely can’t go wrong with that! If you’re looking for an asian twist, the laksa pasta would be the right choice for you!

If you love a good bowl of sashimi donburi, Umi Nami is the place to go!

Thanks to #burpplebeyond, I managed to get these delicious & fresh sashimi bowls for half the price!

We ordered the Salmon Ikura Don ($25), Aburi Scallop Salmon Don ($17) & Aburi Scallop Mekaijiki Don ($24) to share!

Each bowl comes with a bowl of warm Japanese rice, mixed with a light dose of vinegar, before being topped with fresh sashimi. The ikura were like little pops of saltiness from the sea, mixed together with the sourness of the rice and freshness of the Salmon works perfectly together.

Thanks to #burpplebeyond, I managed to enjoy 1 for 1 pizzas & 1 for 1 rice or risotto.

The grilled chicken & mushroom risotto was one of the highlights for the table as it packs a small punch with jalapeño!

The grilled chicken was juicy & succulent with a slight char on the skin, paired with the perfectly cooked risotto.

Tucked at the second floor of Bishan Stadium & overlooking the track is Good Bites, a pretty, aesthetically pleasing space serving up decent bites in this central area.

Thanks to #burpplebeyond, we managed to get 1 for 1 pastas from their option of 6. Apart from that, they do also serve up burgers & healthy bowls!

For their Seafood Aglio Olio ($14.50), it comes with fresh prawns, squid, mussels, lightly tossed in olive oil & garlic with spaghetti. However, we requested for pure prawns as my sister doesn't take the other 2 & they kindly obliged with additional fees (yay, plus point)!

Pasta was slightly overcooked, but came as a decent portion with fresh plump juicy prawns! Flavour & taste wise was spot on, without being too oily, definitely a dish to have if you're looking for something light & simple.

Served with fresh prawns, squid & mussels tossed in their tangy signature Tom yum sauce, this pasta packed quite a punch!

As I don't take mussels, they kindly obliged to changing it up to more prawns without additional costs!

Pasta was slightly overcooked (but I think most would find it alright), but taste wise was pretty alright.

Their tomyum had a slightly sweet note to it, but it does help by cutting through the spice, without being too overwhelming!

Had this as part of #BurppleBeyond & got this at half the price #WHUT

Another winner from the menu was their grain / bowls - Ribeye Fiesta. We topped up an additional $2 for cauliflower rice - chopped cauliflower cooked with peppers & garlic.

To top it, you get a perfectly medium rare ribeye, smooth creamy guac, poached egg & parsley.

The ribeye was soft to bite and flavourful on its own. Paired with the cauliflower, you've got yourself a pretty healthy & hearty bowl!

P/S: this is available on #Burpplebeyond!!

There’s like a million other Japanese buffets out there, but Shin Minori aims to carve out a slice of the over saturated pie by offering a very affordable Omizu lunch/dinner buffet. Better yet, it’s on Burpple Beyond, so a buffet for two is well worth the money invested!

Of course, when you’re at a Japanese restaurant that does sushi or sashimi, you get both without a second of hesitation. Shin Minori’s sashimi moriwase (yes, the whole dang platter is part of the buffet!) sees six different cast members of The Little Mermaid sharing space on a really yuge and kinda heavy bowl. The slices are generously thick and every last slice is fantastically fresh too!

With Burpple Beyond, you get one 1-for-1 dinner buffet, and two lunch buffets at Shin Minori’s Marine Parade outpost. Hey, that’s pretty good!

Thanks for hosting us Shin Minori, and thanks for the invite Burpple!

Value for money Curry Udon and beef udon with choose your own tempura!

Samvo ($14) features sourdough rye spread with smooth avocado! It is topped by smoked salmon, which I found a tad too salty, and two eggs of your choice. I picked the scrambled option, and they were perfectly done and well seasoned :-) could have done without such a large portion of salad, but the pesto sauce came in handy there!

Combination Beef Noodles with Medium Rare Sliced Beef, Beef Balls, Tripe, Beef Shank & Herbs

Craving for authentic Vietnamese cuisine in a cosy café setting? @tonkincafe is the place to go. Tucked in Paya Lebar’s @kinexsg, this all-day noodle and café joint serves up a selection of soup/dry Pho and Bun rice noodles, Banh Mi and other classic sides such as Vietnamese Spring Rolls & Fried Corn Kernels.

To my surprise, the pho and spring rolls we had didn’t disappoint at all. No doubt I will be back again to try the other dishes they offer, as well as their egg coffee which I didn’t managed to try that night. Btw, where else can I get egg coffee in Singapore🤔?

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

food was pretty good! would defo recommend the truffle fries, very legit for the price + good portion for sharing ☺️ mains were not bad (the rosti could be thinner and thus more crispy in the center + pasta needs more seasoning) but overall pretty good for the 1-1 deal! would come back to try the all day brunch the next time😊😊
