๐™€๐™ญ๐™ค๐™ฉ๐™ž๐™˜ ๐™๐™ง๐™ž๐™›๐™ก๐™š: Admittedly I chose this for the mad effects, but it wasnโ€™t just a superficial dessert! Sour mango pops cut through the thicker mango compote, with a touch of lime sorbet to sweeten it up. The compote got slightly heavy towards the end, though it was really addictive whilst the toppings lasted.

The toffee ice cream was light and on the icier side: a good call considering the heavier mousse ๐Ÿซ

๐™Ž๐™ฉ๐™–๐™ฃ๐™—๐™ง๐™ค๐™ ๐™š ๐˜ฝ๐™ก๐™–๐™˜๐™  ๐˜ผ๐™ฃ๐™œ๐™ช๐™จ (~+$20) was too chewy and tough for my liking, proving to be a workout for my jaw. Skip this, it wasnโ€™t worth the top up! The flavour wasnโ€™t really there either ๐Ÿฅฉ

๐˜ฝ๐™–๐™—๐™ฎ ๐˜ฝ๐™–๐™จ๐™จ was my preferred main of the 2: being partly soaked in seafood bisque and partly having a crispy saltier exterior. I didnโ€™t expect fish to ever be flavourful enough but I ready enjoyed this โ˜บ๏ธ

Mad props to the presentation too: itโ€™s beautiful

The complimentary ๐™Ž๐™ค๐™ช๐™ง๐™™๐™ค๐™ช๐™œ๐™ ๐™—๐™ง๐™š๐™–๐™™ ๐™ฌ๐™ž๐™ฉ๐™ ๐™ข๐™ช๐™จ๐™๐™ง๐™ค๐™ค๐™ข is AMAZING. I usually avoid butter like the plague bc (donโ€™t waste my calories) but the mushroom flavour was rich and the butter wasnโ€™t too oily. Sourdough was fluffy, but the butter stole the show.

I loved the Yorkshire pudding so much I had an extra piece too .

[Mains] The star for me was the ๐™Ž๐™ž๐™œ๐™ฃ๐™–๐™ฉ๐™ช๐™ง๐™š ๐™๐™ค๐™–๐™จ๐™ฉ๐™š๐™™ ๐™‹๐™ง๐™ž๐™ข๐™š ๐™๐™ž๐™— ๐™ค๐™› ๐˜ฝ๐™š๐™š๐™›, although it was a lighter cut at 160g, I was pretty filled by the sides of creamed spinach and mashed potato. Sure, the sides were definitely nothing to shout about, but the soft tender beef sOAKING in beef jus was what kept me going ๐Ÿฅฉ

[Starter] Wasnโ€™t really a huge fan of the starters: Sure, the red wine sauce on the ๐™๐™ค๐™ž๐™š ๐™‚๐™ง๐™–๐™จ was done well, but the Foie Gras had the texture of spongy tofu. ๐™‡๐™ค๐™—๐™จ๐™ฉ๐™š๐™ง ๐˜พ๐™ง๐™ค๐™ฆ๐™ช๐™š๐™ฉ๐™ฉ๐™š was underwhelming in taste, and overwhelming in batter. ๐Ÿฆž
