The $50+ 1-for-1 3 course meal comes with a sukiyaki truffle don, mentaiko scallops, and a drink. It was pricey but very delicious. The combination of flavours and texture was amazing and everyone enjoyed it. (I suspect it was so expensive because it uses real truffles but I couldn't really taste it so..)

The truffle fries were an additional side that cost almost $15 w/ GST+service charge, but the fries were thinner than most fries and therefore very crispy and flavourful. Highly recommend as well.

I’m not usually a fan of tomato-based anything🍅 but oh this burrata pizza ($24) lived up to its hype! As you slice open the delicate burrata, expect a cold creamy flow that paired so well with the pesto & tangy red sauce🤩. I thought the crust was enjoyable too! Thin, but with enough chew to not resemble a biscuit.

All pizza are thin crust and serve relatively fast as well.
Pasta are a must order in a date. They are delicious made and Al dente. Worth the price, even more so with burpple deal.
Love the Burrata cheese, mixed into the spaghetti, its just amazingly good. We just want more of it!

Overall, we paid $294 inclusive of 4 house pour, 3 sodas and a bottle of wine for 6 pax, while using 3 burpple deals. Pretty awesome deal and meal. Highly recommended!

We’ve read countless of rave reviews about the Braised Beef Cheeks so we weren’t surprised to find that it was as good as it sounded. With beef cheeks, it can go 2 ways: extremely tough or outrageously tender. The ones at Eleven Strands are of the latter and it was fork tender and packed with plenty of umami. It came with a side of buttery mash and mushrooms and everything was doused in a savoury gravy that had hints of red wine in it. Definitely a stellar dish that is well deserving of all the praise it has received!

The Prawn Basil Pesto Pasta was a surprising treat. The pesto sauce has a lovely nutty, earthy flavour that wasn’t too overwhelmingly strong and this generously coated the pasta which was cooked to a nice al dente. What really blew us away were the prawns; these are some of the crunchiest, juiciest prawns we’ve ever had in a pasta dish and it provided a nice textural contrast against the slippery pasta. Hopefully this isn’t a once-off thing and that it’ll be just as good if we ever order this dish again!

Located on the second floor of Fraser Tower, this hidden gem in Amoy Street Food Centre serves up hearty bowls of springy ramen noodles in a collagen rich broth. At just $11.90, enjoy a bowl of Tori Chashu Ramen in Original/Spicy, which sees thick and tender slices of chicken chashu or opt for the dry ramen Maze-men. Feeling extra hungry? Their Tori Fest Ramen ($17.50) will be sure to fill you up with slices of sukiyaki, chashu and hanjuku eggs! Psst, all their ingredients are halal-certified.

This place deserves a better location than at a corner of a dead mall...the meats that this place served up were definitely getting more action than the lonely men that visited the deserted adult shop down the row. We had the steak omurice and tonkatsu set and through sheer innovation, anything dipped in the deglazed sauce was soo good your eyes would roll back and make you say the lord’s name in vain. The eggs of the omu rice were liquid gold and silky smooth like a baby's bottom, having it slide around in your mouth was like putting a silky blanket on a cool rainy night🥴 tonkatsu was lean like a championship boxer and packed a punch in terms of flavour and crisp. Definitely an establishment hitting way above its weightclass. A humble eatery with limited sitting yet quality food!

You'll never get bored of this place with their menu of Italian classics and Japanese-fusion dishes, which change up every two to three months! From Sep to Nov 2020, enjoy a selection of their Tagliollini Tiger Prawn with Cherry Tomatoes ($27.90), Spaghetti Hokkaido Scallop with Myoga Tobiko Wasabi taste ($27.90), Grilled Octopus ($23.90) and Seafood Squid Ink Risotto ($23.90). Don't miss out on their quality cuts of Striploin, Tenderloin or Ribeye, choosing between the Australian Pinnacle or Ireland John Stone.

Following their first outlet at Amoy Street, they've brought their springy noodles and signature fried dumplings to a cozy, casual eatery along Circular Road. Exclusive to this outlet only, their XO Prawn Noodles ($10) has Burpplers' raving about the spring noodles tossed in an addictively spicy XO seafood sauce topped with fresh prawns, hanjuku eggs and a generous serving of tobiko. Pair your noodles with a side of Sichuan Dumplings ($8) or Fried Pierogi ($8). Head down with your colleagues for their lunch special at just $16, which comes with a choice of noodles, dumplings and ice-cold drink to cool off the lunch crowd heatwave!

Enjoy a sumptuous authentic Italian meal accompanied by the magnificent sunset view at @lapizzeriarsyc. Definitely a hidden gem for al fresco dining and perfect for gatherings over dinner with drinks.

On the first visit, we had 2 pizzas and 2 pastas including the popular ravioli spinaci e ricotta, which was indeed a hit that we decided to return 2 weeks later just to order 1 each. Only to realize how ambitious we were. 😂 As the staff cut open the bread cover to unveil its contents, I could already detect the whiffs of earthy truffle from the truffled mushroom cream, served with plenty of mushroom slices. There were 6 pieces of ravioli, each filled with spinach and ricotta. Good to be shared, as it could get jelak. Best part was the slightly charred bread cover, which you could use to mop up the truffle mushroom cream. However, note that the underneath of the bread cover is uncooked.

One thing for sure is the overloading of carbs on every visit, especially with #burpplebeyond. (I am not complaining!) Even the complimentary sourdough serving was satisfying especially when the bread was freshly baked. Highly recommended to make reservations as the restaurant was full on both visits. Great choice of sauce from spicy korean, miso, to original chinese spice. Meat was very jelat after awhile so good to get some vegetables to go along too! Don’t get the spring onion meat if you can’t take the raw taste LOL it was super overpowering 🥴 Great value too with BB - paid ~$14 each for 4 pax and we ordered 1-for-1 main dish on top of 20+20 skewers.

It was 1 for 1 so total was $10.90 which was super worth it! Pistachio was very nutty and the speculoos biscoff was sooo good! ALSO THE WAFFLES!!! It was super fluffy and crispy and buttery 🤤 will definitely be back for more flavours!!!!
