very nice cafe, cosy and quiet. I like that their music is very soft, so everyone don't have to talk loudly over it. yuzu latte was nice, and hojicha latte a tad too sweet. my pound cake was hilariously tiny at 3.90 but delicious so no complain there, just had a good laugh over it.

With the Burpple Beyond app, you get to enjoy your coffee fix for a steal. Sadly, the mocha was pretty bad with lousy chocolate syrup added that tasted pretty weird.

We got the Iced Cereal Milk Latte and The Dirty ($7.50 each), and thoroughly enjoyed both. While I can’t say that I tasted the cornflakes-soaked nuttiness, I have to admit that the mildly sweet and exceedingly creamy cereal milk latte was 200% addictive. Especially when you’ve got that complementing a robust, bold, and chocolatey espresso — literally couldn’t put the glass down after my first sip! The Dirty was described to us as a “cold brew with oat milk and some spices”, but after a sip I’d basically describe it as a dirty chai 😉 I like that you can discernibly taste the spices in the chai (I got cinnamon/ginger/cardamom), in a really mellow not in-your-face kinda way, and it’s just very lightly sweetened to enhance all the different flavours. Super easy to drink and great if you’re a fan of chai. Note that if you’re intending to use the Beyond 1-for-1, you’ve gotta top at an additional $1.50 for their coffee specials. That adds up to a total of $9 for your 1-for-1, which is still very worth it imho 😉

The long black ($4) uses beans from Laos, giving a full-bodied flavour that is chocolatey and lightly spiced. The flat white ($5) is a tad milder, using beans from Papua New Guinea with hints of malt and nuts. Was really impressed with how cleanly the coffee came through! The cups are on the small side, but definitely of high quality.
