a lot less rowdy than their neighbour (golden mile complex), air-conditioned and surprisingly good ventilation! can’t really go wrong with this franchise

one of the more popular mookata chains around, safe to say quality across all outlets are pretty good. sadly i realised their portions have shrunk a lot especially for minced pork and prawn paste! probably the effects of the pandemic 😢

favourite mookata place! very affordable and reasonable portions given. the chili deserves a special commendation, the right balance between sour and spicy 😋 must try if you live in the west~

tomato broth was yummy! best place for birthdays or celebrations as the service staff will surely make you feel welcomed 🥳 come for the special frills (manicure services, snacks & ice cream, screen protector) and be treated like a queen! most outlets are opened 24/7 so great for satisfying those late night hunger pangs. just remember to make a reservation as the waiting time can be insane 🥴

definitely one of the more affordable options in the world of hotpots! meats and soup (tomato) were okay, nothing ultimately fantastic but all in all value for money $$ liked how you could get an individual pot to yourself :)

special highlight to the collagen soup which was oh so good 😍 tomato soup was very tasty and appetising as well. pork with chive dumplings and beef cubes are a must try!

amazing variety of seafood and meat! was personally reaching out for the live oysters most 🤪 free flow drinks (bubble thai milk tea) and other cooked items too. prawns were big and they even had crabs/crayfish, but found it rather hard to grill as the fire wasn’t strong enough and it got smokey very easily. would probably not visit again solely for this reason unless there’s an offer 🥴

best part about this would be the free flow beansprouts and eggs! gyoza was good too. got the spicy thick lobster broth but would prefer sticking to the OG. very tasty first spoonfuls but probably the kind of thing you’ll eat once every few months as it can be quite ‘jelak’. nevertheless affordable and recommended! 🤩 great for the night owls
