this has been on the top of my bucket list for the longes time and i'm happy to say that this didn't disappoint. 🥴 i usually don't like 拉麵 because i feel that some restaurants make it super duper mushy but these were QQ! also, the intestines were soft and chewy, and were not gamey at all. the soup had the right amount of spice (at least for me) but i added a dash of vinegar do that it'd achieve more of a 酸辣湯 taste.

if you love sichuan spices, you'll definitely love this dish! 🥴 although the sichuan spices made the chicken spicy, it was not overwhelming to the point that you would be asking for three cups of milk. also, the chicken was extremely crispy yet tender. the only thing weird about this dish were the "egg yolks", which were mango purée desserts to cool down your tastebuds after eating the spicy chicken.

uh..... it tastes exactly like what you'd imagine it to be. it's nothing spectacular, but at least there were crispy garlic bits to go with it.

every time i order the truffle shiitake buns, i fall deeper in love with them. 🥰 i'm a extremely huge fan of mushrooms and the buns did not disappoint at all. the buns were soft and airy, and were stuffed generously with the shiitake mushrooms. the taste of the truffle was prominent, so if you're a huge fan of truffle and mushrooms, please get this!

price: $12.80 (for three slices)

this may have been one of the best prawn toast i've ever eaten. each slice of toast was light and airy; and despite them being extremely crispy, they were not greasy at all! each slice of toast also had a big piece of prawn and was garnished with a sweet truffle paste.

i wasn't expecting much from the chicken yakitori but wow..... it tasted so good that i ate one skewer before i took a picture hehe. 🥴 the chicken yakitori was tender and fatty. the only weird thing about this dish was that the chicken was hot but the teriyaki sauce was cold.

price: $17.90 (since i bought it using burpple beyond, it was $14.95 and came with chicken yakitori, miso soup and salad)

honestly, this was better than i had expected. 😎 i expected thin and tiny slices of sashimi with a bit of mentaiko sauce, but boy, was i wrong. the kaisendon had thick and big slices of sashimi and was doused in mentaiko sauce. there was also a big serving of sweet wakame and salty ikura. i would definitely get it again, even without using burpple beyond.

i don't know whether it's because i had high expectations or whether it's because it tasted alright..... whatever it is, i was disappointed. 😢 the wagyu was tough and the housemade sauce was weird. also, i didn't even have any foie gras? however, the prawn tempura, unagi and salmon mentai made me feel slightly better about the donburi. i wouldn't buy it again, but if you wouldn't mind wasting $68, go for it luv. ❤️

rump steaks aren't usually as tender as sirloin steaks, however they are definitely deeper in flavour. 🤓 this steak was on the leaner side so if you're looking for fatty steaks, do not get this! you will be disappointed! but all in all, it's a good steak.

the pasta was generously doused in a creamy mentaiko sauce, which was complemented by the crunchy salty ikura. however, the sauce was slightly overwhelming after a while. this is a dish to share with your friends and family (but if you're greedy like me, feel free to keep it all for yourself 👹).

i don't usually eat pizza but oh my god. i can definitely understand why this is a signature dish. 🥴this pizza has so many flavours (salty parma ham, bitter arugula, sweet cherry tomatoes, sour balsamic vinegar) yet they all complement each other.
