Quite a standard donburi, average serving size. It was nice that they separated the curry in our takeaway so the rice and chicken don’t get soggy.

We got this as part of a Shopback Go deal - if it’s your first time purchasing one of their deals, you can get this bowl for only $2.90, which is quite a good deal. I wouldn’t pay for this at original price though.

Pretty standard Zinger burger - chicken patty was crispy and meaty. It was a very comforting burger. We visited this outlet on a weekday evening at about 7pm and it was not very crowded at all, managed to get a seat for two.

We used our 1-for-1 Zinger deal voucher which made this so worth it. We got the voucher by playing the mini game on the KFC mobile app - you can get one voucher every day. Simply tap on the falling golden ingots 3 times each to earn a voucher.

Soup was creamy and so flavourful. Spiciness was very minimal, so don’t be too worried about not being able to handle it. Noodles were springy. We really enjoyed this dish. It was so worth it. This bowl of ramen was comparable, if not even more tasty, to that of those in restaurants that cost almost twice the price. Would recommend trying this.

We visited on the second day of CNY so they charged us $1 more per dish. There’s a small seating area inside of the shop, we managed to get seats for two at about 1 plus in the afternoon.

For this price, this was a steal. This bowl of ramen was comparable, if not even more tasty, to that of those in restaurants that cost twice the price. The taste of truffle blended well with the whole dish. Noodles were springy, and they didn’t cut short of their ingredients.

Not too bad a milkshake, I like the crunch of the lotus biscuits in the drink. The taste of caramel was a little bit too sugar syrup-y for me but I expected it from a milkshake.

I found it a little absurd that you’ve to pay an extra 30 cents for whipped cream, so I chose without, which made me a little bit sad.

I visited on a weekday morning and it was fairly empty.

Overall burger was pretty solid - patty was small and dry, but at least it was thick and fairly tasty. I would’ve preferred if it was juicier, at least it would make the whole burger less dry. Still enjoyable though.

You can choose between, or all (if you’re greedy like me) of the following fillings: lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions, mustard, relish and mayo. The salad veggies were quite fresh.

A fair alternative if you want to pay more for slightly less junk-y food, though I think $8.50 for just the burger is a little towards the pricey side for what you actually get.

Burgers were not too bad for the price - buns were fluffy, meat was juicy. Size is about the same size as a cheeseburger or fillet-o-fish from McDonald’s.

You can choose between fries or onion rings for the sides for no extra charge, which was nice.

A pretty alright alternative if you want an in between of fast food burgers and gourmet burgers.

There’s a small seating area by the shop. We visited on a weekday evening and managed to get seats for two quite easily.

Chicken rice but with less guilt - I like how this place takes local foods and puts a healthy twist to it - such as putting sou vide chicken on brown rice. Veggies were fresh.

Tastewise, obviously not as delicious as our familiar local dish but it’s a pretty good healthier alternative. They also write the amount of calories of each dish on their menu, which is a nice touch.

Quite worth it with the Beyond 1-for-1 deal. They do takeaways as well.

Your typical fillet-o-fish, but with double the fish fillets! We got this during the 1-for-1 deal period so it was very worth it.

The McDonald’s here is quite spacious - it has an outdoor seating area that is sheltered. We came here on a weekday evening and it was quite busy, but we were just 2 so it was easy to get seats.

Pictured above - French Onion (left) and Tomato (right) soup. The French Onion soup was really quite salty but it was tasty. The tomato soup was creamy and so comforting. We enjoyed them both. The popiah was not bad too.

$8.50 for this set is pretty okay, and the Beyond 1-for-1 makes it a definite steal. Serving time is quick and this is great for a quick meal if you’re not too hungry.

Tastes exactly like the drink, I felt like I was literally eating the drink but in ice cream form. Worth a try for Bandung lovers, maybe if you’re not too big a fan it’s alright for sharing.

Also, it’s so pink and cute!

The McDonald’s here isn’t too crowded on a weekday night, we visited at about 8.30pm and there were many seats. There’s an outdoor area for sitting as well.

Under Neo Garden, you can order a curry bomb online and collect it at any Umi Sushi outlet. The curry bomb is essentially a gigantic fluffy golden bun wrapped around the restaurant’s Signature Curry Chicken.

The huuuuge bread was soft and fluffy, and a little bit sweet. Dipping it in the spicy, fragrant curry was simply delicious. The curry came in a plastic Tupperware inside of the bread, and had pieces of potatoes as well as a few (very few) tiny (really quite tiny) pieces of chicken (with bone) inside.

We had a lot of fun sharing this, though I wish there was a little more chicken with the curry. Worth a try if you’ve not tried something like this before.
