Bought their tarts and cakes again on a 9/9 Qoo10 promotion, all for $19!! All were amazing and I especially loved their new PB&J tart 😋😋

First time trying a no-meat burger (the Shroom burger) and it was DELICIOUS!! There was a deep fried juicy mushroom and when I bit into it cheese oozed out too. I also had the double Shack Attack (the chocolate thing) and it is so rich and thick!! It’s like thicker than ice cream and there’s Plain Vanilla brownies, Lemuel dark chocolate and chocolate sprinkles inside too :)

Has the Condensed Milk Crispy Bun and half of the Signature Pork Chop Bun for lunch and it was very nice and filling! The bun was slightly sweet and not too overpowering and it was very nice and buttery too :)

Time to celebrate D1 of Phrase 2 with @parisbaguette_sg new 3 Cheers Croissant series. Each croissant ($6.50) is generously filled with decadent rum-infused flavoured creams. Check out the three flavours:
• Rum & Almond Caramel Croissant
• Rum & Earl Grey Croissant
• Rum & Chocolate Cacao Croissant
Serve it for breakfast or dessert, it’s up to you!

Bit on the pricey side, but the smooth, quality taste makes up for it. Got a classic iced latte with oat milk (the best). Super satisfying + the aesthetic makes it.

Brotherbird Milk & Croissants created this bubble tea mochi croissant recently, hopping onto the bandwagon of boba trends and I had never actually tried their croissants before. I’d seen them on instagram but like never really travelled the way to get them, so I had rather high expectations from the hype. 🥐

I was rather disappointed. I ordered the Rocher Croissant ($5) and the Boba Croissant ($5.50) at the Stateland Cafe where they have this small popup glass display of their croissants. Perhaps it became a little soggy and the crust had absorbed all the filling, but the boba croissant had barely any filling left and the pearls were all that were inside a pretty soggy crust. Maybe because I went late at around 6pm? But I think if something spoils or loses quality in a few hours, maybe they should pipe fillings upon order?☕️
The Rocher croissant was okay I guess - it was filled with nutella and coated in chocolate. It was also a little soggy, but better than the boba croissant. It’s coated with chocolate so I see reheating it as a bit of an issue. Maybe I’ll come back and try them fresh; but at this point I don’t really understand what the difference between a mochi croissant and a normal croissant is.

Verdict: 6.5/10

As my friend was craving for some pancake and we are in Bugis area, I suggested to have Belle Ville which is known for their pancakes. I ordered the 8 pics Matcha with Rice Ball and Red Bean Pancake ($16.20) while my friends ordered the 4 pics Strawberry and Mixed Berry Pancake ($14.40) & 4 pics Chocolate and Grilled Banana Pancake ($12.20). The Pancake was soft and fluffy with the hint of bitterness from the Matcha. The pancake is not cooked completely in order to get that wobbly and runny texture I'm looking for. I tried my friend Strawberry and Mixed Berry Pancake and it was not bad with the fresh fruit and cream & for my friend's Chocolate and Grilled Banana Pancake, I can taste the smokiness from the banana and the raw taste of the pancake compared to my friend who ordered the Strawberry and Mixed Berry Pancake.

Do note that do not have a main before coming here as a dessert as it is pancake which is flour. Hence, if you wish to have the pancake. It will be both a main and a dessert.

got this s'mores waffle + dark choco icecream etc & a speculoos cheesecake with 2 other friends! on their own, both are good dessert options if you're a sweet tooth, no doubt. I particularly liked the speculoos cheesecake, guess you can't go wrong with speculoos in a sweet treat. but both the waffles & cheesecake together were too OP as an after dinner option. let's just say I wouldn't describe either dish as 'light' for the palate 😅 3 of us at the table struggled to finish it all (we still did though, with lotsa water, hehe). nonetheless, I recommend that you come for brunch/tea & be prepared with good convo companions to really enjoy the sweetness~

They extended the place with more seats opposite their main store. Love the place as its bright and simple. Pulled pork egg benedicts were good! Prefer this over the ham and cheese sandwich which is a bit too salty for me. Cruffin was good too. It's far from my area but I will visit here again!

Brownie was drizzled with caramel sauce. Texture of brownie was nice! Top was crispy and the cake part was moist. Not too sweet too!

$6 per slice of divine pie.
Graham cracker base + moist soft chocolate pudding + homemade marshmallow.
