Coffee Places To Try

Iced latte ($5.50) was super yummy, prolly better than the ones usually offered at large coffee chains.. cake ($8) was slightly pricier, also on the tougher side from being refrigerated but still q yummy. There were specialty drinks like their dirty matcha and orange espresso not included in 1for1, which i might go back to try. But service staffs can be friendlier. Also takeaway didnt come w utensils but items were well packed.

As the escalators don’t go to level 7, you’ll need to take a lift at lobby A to get to the cafe. I had the earl grey hot chocolate which was really fragrant and thick! Having moved from their Raffles City outlet, Parallel now occupies a cosy new space on Duxton Hill and a larger menu to boot, including Acai bowls, croissants, and sourdough sandwiches. Burppler Xing Wei Chua likes how their Acai bowls aren't icy, but "smooth with a deep, earthy yet berry-like note". But it's how budget-friendly their speciaty coffee are that catches his attention - from $2.90 for any black coffee and $3.90 for whites whether it's iced or not. When it gets dark, Parallel turns into a bar of sorts with classic cocktails from $10!

I REALLY RECOMMEND THIS

I usually am not a fan of pancakes and sticky date. But Five Oars managed to make these 2 items into something I enjoyed thoroughly 🥺

It’s not overwhelmingly sweet, pancakes were soft, FLUFFY & moist. I appreciate that they made it upon order as it came warm.

Nuts, speculoos and even the caramelised banana gave this dessert a mix of texture, great crunch!
