Beef
Scanning the stalls, I was immediately drawn to RAPPU’s new onigiris. LOOK AT HOW CUTE THEY ARE🥺😆🍙 I was recommended the 𝐖𝐀𝐆𝐘𝐔 𝐎𝐍𝐈𝐆𝐈𝐑𝐈 ($𝟖) which packed tender shoyu wagyu beef & roasted green chillies, delivering a smoky flavour with a subtle tinge of spice!🔥
Housed under the same booth as RAPPU - The Proper Concepts Collective - is the very popular The Feather Blade! I couldn’t resist their hefty-looking 𝐌𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐁𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐒 ($𝟖) & after taking a bite, I have to declare that this is a ‼️MUST EAT‼️ Made using minced beef & premium foie gras, you have to douse them in mushroom cream & cranberry jam for maximum enjoyment🥩🥘 Burpplers can enjoy 1-for-1 too!
The sausage was soo smoky & flavourful but was too dry. The roasted potatoes & braised red cabbage lacked flavour too :(
the donburis are a must-order!! beef was v tender & omg i srslly loved the rice they used in the donburi. Stepped up the game by seasoning the plain white rice with dashi & soy sauce, making it super flavourful & tastyyyy
SIGNATURE BEEF KALBI ($15.90) was marinated well and wasn’t too tough nor chewy!
personally felt that the beef could use a bit more salt, but i really liked the spiced fries!
beef was a bit dry and tough even though it’s supposed to be cooked medium rare, but not too bad since it was sliced quite thinly. personally felt that there was too much rice
generousss portion, not as dry as the chicken
pretyy good!! kinda dense, but napoli sauce & jalapeños & ricotta went perfectly
expensive for the tiny portion. beef was tough too. oh but that foie gras🤤🤤 they did it so well. super creamy
We were all familiar with LAVO’s huge portions but still, shocked was an understatement when “𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐌𝐄𝐀𝐓𝐁𝐀𝐋𝐋” ($𝟑𝟗) was presented to our table. The wagyu was so finely grounded & splendid with the fresh whipped ricotta🤤🧀
really liked this!! the thinly-sliced roasted A4 Wagyu Beef was soo sweet & soft absolutely no gamey-ness at all.
