Very interesting and unique flavors - the one that really hits a spot was the Hakka Pork Belly with Preserved Vegetables Rice Dumpling. Loved how the fatty pork belly really just melts in the mouth and how the preserved vegetables balanced the taste so it was not too gelat. Loved it so much that we ordered a box to keep in fridge - for a quick fix when hungry. I am very impressed how soft the glutinous rice is even when refrigerated - and just need to simply microwave for a minute and it still taste as fresh!
Was instantly greeted with a yuzu mocktial shot which was really refreshing. Started the meal with the mushroom soup which was very creamy and bold in flavour, the croutons topping also did added a nice texture to the soup. Truffles fries were very generous in serving and was a very good finger food to share while waiting for the mains. As a avid steak lover, i really enjoyed the Pan Seared Steak, which was the chef choice cut that they served. The mash potato too was very creamy and well seasoned, overall a very well balance dish.
Loved how to place was decorated like mini Russia. It was my first time ever trying Russian dumplings so I opted for the combo platter of 12 pieces to get more variety. The dumplings came in different colour to differentiate the various flavour - the one that stood out the most was the Beef as it was was tender and flavourful. The most raved about cake was the Medovik, a real treat for the tastebuds, a multi layered honey cake recommend sharing it as the portion is quite huge. Overall a very unique and lovely experience.
This is not your traditional Yong Tau Foo, and was a very different concept from the other Fu Lin restaurants i have visited. The menu was much more diverse and most of the dishes had a different twist from our local food. I thoroughly enjoyed the Chicken skewers as i was very tender and juicy! The serving on the skewer was also twice as much as your traditional satay stall. I also had the Iberico Pork, which was perfectly seasoned a very great dish to go along with some beer! Overall had a lovely experience and would love to try the other dishes on the menu.
Was amazed by the generous portion of the fries and also the bits of truffle that came along with it. The truffle mayo sauce was generously drizzled with truffle oil! The sashimi was great too, but perhaps can be more thickly sliced. Would definitely come back here to try their A5 gyukatsu sandwich!
Am always on the hunt for the tender and juicy medium rare steak! The steak from Kucina ticked all boxes off my list, the portions was great and it came along with the sides of mini baked potatoes which were grilled to perfection! The perfect pairing to such a dish would be some truffles fries - and boy it was yummy! The fries were drenched with truffle oil and they too were generous on the parmesan cheese. Definitely would come back to try their pasta!
