Cafes
This cafe is situated inconspicuously among the private estates along Kembangan mrt, right beside someone's else home in fact. Food was good. We ordered a pasta, risotto, salad and sides to share among 3 pax, ended up ordering 1 more mushroom risotto because it was so good. It was a hands down win for the Seafood Risotto. Well flavoured!
Ordered the set menu that comes with a drink, French Toast and 2 croissants or a pastry of your choice. Enjoyed the toast. Bread was light and fluffy and it wasn't too heavy for high tea. The only downside was that wait time was too long. We were ushered into the restaurant and were told to browse the retail area. From there, we waited for more than 30 mins for the table. Although food was decent, I wouldn't wait for an hour for it again.
Dish was too dry and not cheesy enough for my liking. Prawn was not fresh too. Don't recommend this dish. My friend had beef noodles, that was good though!
Tried their Sticky Toffee after my meal and was delighted that the overall balance of the dish was good. The toffee sauce wasn't too sweet, unlikely some other sticky date I have tried. Cake was moist and warm, perfect with the ice cream. The only downside was that a scoop of ice cream was too little!
Was introduced to this place by a friend and it was so good! This is my 2nd visit. I highly recommend their fried broccoli, it is crispy on the outside but tender and juicy once you bite in. Their char siew rice bowl was also good, char siew was flavourful and melts in your mouth. The other 2 rice bowls that I ordered were equally good!
Can't recall the name of the dishes but it was Chicken with Rosti and Big Breakfast I think. Highly do not recommend this place. Chicken was alright but the scrambled egg had a burnt taste to it and the Rosti wasn't crispy. We also waited for quite some time before the food arrived even though the cafe wasn't too crowded.
