Burpple Beyond

Windowsill pies has become my go-to dessert to buy & share with friends, thanks to burpple beyond! I don’t think I’ve eaten pecan pie before so this was a great first experience! Love the peppermint pie, the flavours were great with the chocolate

A spacious and modern cafe with a wide selection of vegetarian and vegan options. I took a gamble by taking the prawn marinara, a gamble because I didn’t see it on Burpple’s reviews, but it turned out really great and the staff was extremely kind to accede to my “extra spicy” request.

Aside from beyond, genius central offers many other promos, making dining a pleasant experience. You can even bring your laptop there, as the space is well-lit, spacious and full of plugs for your laptops :)

Brought my family and in-laws here and it was a pleasant experience! :) my favourites: crab meat aglio olio, lobster pasta and the truffle fries. The spicy prawn pasta was a little weird (fusion style pasta) but otherwise we enjoyed the other mains!

PSA: the food can get pretty spicy. I love spice so I was good with it, but if you’re not a fan of the chillies then you should ask them to turn down the heat for some of the pastas.

Bonus! They had happy hour so we enjoyed several rounds of the 1-1 drinks on top of the usual 1-1 deals. The yuzu umeshu was nice and refreshing!

Got the 1-1 waffles and 1-1 mains thanks to beyond! The truffle fries (add on) was of great quality (comparable to PS cafe’s), and my friends enjoyed the coffee

Stumbled upon this place because of the burpple 1-1 deals. The set was a chirashi don which came with miso soup and yakitori. Pretty decent portion although I wished they gave more sashimi for the amount of rice given. Will be back!

Ordered the single origin hot chocolate (72%) using burpple 1-1. Loved that it was thick, creamy and not too sweet

Not bad a deal with burpple beyond’s 1-1 for drinks. The cakes are affordable at around $4, and taste pretty decent as well.

Visited this place for the 1-1 but turned out the food was great even at its original cost! $9.90 for a whole fish and the huge portions for the omelette and Tom yum was very satisfying.

Super delicious and value for money with Beyond’s 1-for-1! I’m definitely not a healthy eater and hesitated a great deal at the menu, but I was really impressed by how our flavourful the bowl was ... while still keeping it a healthy meal. A nice and cosy place during weekday dinners

Do check with the staff the terms for using beyond 1-1, as it can get a little complicated.

I’m a huge fan of beef noodles and this one DEFINITELY hits the top of my list. The scent of beef broth hits your nostrils (yes, even with mask on) just standing outside the shop. The soup broth was flavourful, not too salty, and the chilli was downright amazing. Noodles was cooked just right. Drank down every last drop of soup and I’m now pining for more.

$6.90 a bowl, but it was all worth it!
