Visited Jidai recently for their 1-for-1 9 course omakase. Staff were very kind and seated us even though we were late and came close to closing. Food was good, fresh with exciting flavours, we left super full and satiated. Topped up for their duck and foie gras main - highly recommended. Would definitely be back to try their other offerings!
We visited during weekday dinner and ordered the pork collar and the risotto. Risotto was not to our tastes, but the pork collar was great! Tender and fragrant, recommend it for sure! But without the Burpple deal it’s pricey for sure.
Purchased the 1-for-1 Burpple set. Really liked their chicken breast dish, chilli crab pasta was generous but taste wise so-so. Loved their black pepper lime squid!! Overall worth it with the Burpple set.
We were blown away by how great everything here was! We ordered the Homecoming and a negroni, both of which had wonderfully flavoured layers. The mixologist was super nice too. We also had the chilli crab linguine and the baba porchetta. The porchetta was a little dry, but the linguine was superb. We’ll definitely be back for more drinks and food with friends! Come for the cocktail happy hour every day before 8pm!
We had the Burrple 1-for-1, so we got one each of the two platters. Rich chocolate but nothing memorable or fantastic. Nice to try once, wouldn’t get the platters again at this price point.
Crisp waffle, interesting ice cream flavours! We ordered the strawberry and the Chrysanthemum and goji berry ice cream. Flavours were good, love their selection of very unique flavours. Would be back!
Note that shop has moved to #01-08.
I expected a great char and grill flavour from a place named Fyr. Unfortunately, the preparation of everything was average, which was a shame because we could taste the great quality of their ingredients. We had the foie gras, pork tomahawk, and pork collar. But I’d say it’s worth a try with Burpple Premium, and their service was great!
The Burpple set was a variety of dishes that were fresh, delicious, filling and satisfying. Food was all cooked perfectly and served from the minute we sat down and ordered. We especially loved the pork jowl, the Spanish omelette, and the paella. The staff were super attentive. They would see us looking around and would approach us even before we called them over. Didn’t get to try their tapas but all the dishes left the kitchen looking delicious. We’ll definitely come back again to try more!
Mixed Combo ($35) was a great mix of items. We enjoyed the tempura squid, duck breast and ribs. Service was great too!
Cafe Salivation has merged with the Indian restaurant beside its old location and now offers a mixed Western-Indian menu. Ordered the spinach lasagna for $17. A bit pricey, but ingredients and portion were generous and flavour was good so worth the price.
