As those who knows me, know that I don't eat durian as I had extremely bad experience with it before and don't really like the taste of it, therefore I avoid it at all cost. I'm okay with the smell if you're wondering.πŸ˜–
However, I must say @upcakes.sg MSW chocolate cake seems to make an exception. I actually took a spoonful slice of it cause family say is nice.πŸ€”
Just look at that beautiful contrasting colour within the cake, isn't it appealing not to have a taste of it?πŸ₯Ί
Durian paste which was in the inner middle layer, had a creamy, rich, smooth & mushy texture and also give off a super strong smell the moment you open the box cover. That's how potent it is. Sweetness and bitterness is balanced. As a non-durian eater, it didn't give me much trouble.
Moving on to the chocolate part, I quite like it. The flavour was bold, thick and sweetness to bitterness ratio is just right. Cake texture was soft & moist.🀀
When eaten as a whole, I don't know why but somehow it just fits but the durian was overpowering the final taste.😣
Although I had only a spoonful of it, it still make me pretty uncomfortable for at least 2 hours due the lingering taste of durian and a minor indigestion. At least, it didn't gave me a worst reflux attack.
So, if you love durian and chocolate, do check @upcakes.sg out for more product.

So moist, fudgy, and chocolatey. Its not overly sweet too. I like the crackling top crust but it was way too flaky that the moment I poke a piece out, the crumb were dropping. Awh... Even the floor wants to eat.πŸ˜… Thats how good the Brownie were.πŸ˜‹ With the addition of Sea Salt to open your palate and adds an extra oompf.
It's dense too but if more dense, will be better. Eaten at room temperature by the way.
Baker suggest chilling it will achieve a more fudgier state and taste better. I did it and it certainly taste more yummier, more dense and chewy as everything solidify. Just that the oily taste will become more noticeable but that doesn't affect the quality of the Brownie much. Still as wonderful as ever.

Espresso lover will down this pistachio misu like how they enjoy their coffee. The espresso in it is on the potent and extreme side. You can really feel the vigorous energy flow unlocking all your chakra upon having a scoop of it. As for the pistachio, I would say is smooth but rather light as the espresso flood the nutty taste inside out. Nonetheless, its still creamily tasty but I still prefer the strawberry one.πŸ₯Ί

A sweeter dessert for your white christmas which had a light composition of chocolate mousse, distinctive strawberry cremeux and elevated lime sponge on top of sweet crunchy feuilletine then decorated with freeze dried strawberry.

Indeed a bold chocolate flavour with minimalistic design.
A very chocolatey mousse cake that is not so sweet with a layer of smooth and firm yet melt in the mouth raspberry gelee , nutty sweet hazelnut praline, creamy jivara cremeux, moist and airy choco sponge within, while resting upon almond pressed sable.
