Steamboats are my comfort food for rainy days😊 The beef paste w lotus root from the counter tastes surprisingly similar to the meat filling in xiao long baos!😱 The soups turned purple cuz of the purple carrots I took😂

No wonder the roadside coffeeshop was bustling w customers even with its inaccessible location. Not to mention that additional serving of fish was just +$12 and they also provide you with yam, vege, soup etc looking just like the original steamboat portion so its super worth to order the additional serving!! The side dishes were also yummy and cheap😝 Service wise not the best, but the quality and price of the food makes up for it🙃

Slightly disappointed as I was expecting more, or probably cuz I ordered grouper instead of my usual pomfret to go with the Teochew steaming style🤷🏻‍♀️ Nevertheless, fish was still fresh but would definitely recommend pomfret to go with this cooking style otherwise just stick to their signature fishhead steamboat!! 💁🏻‍♀️

And also the stall assistant is so welcoming in receiving customers you won’t miss this stall when you’re there😂 Superb service you cannot resist to reject! Oh & because of that, this stall isn’t exact on good terms w their neighbour for supposedly “poaching” their customers. So it isn’t a rare sight to see the stall owners bickering while you dine there😅 But that being said, food portion is rly generous and I rly like the service there yay!!!

Hoho my fav champion floss maki which I didn’t eat the other day. And omo the stew was surprisingly filling!! Shared amongst 3 ppl😋 MUST GET THE CHAMPION FLOSS MAKI. And omg I just realised they’re expanding so quickly??? The only thing I wished was for the serving time to be faster🥳

Super long since I had my fishhead steamboat 🌝 Surcharge cuz of CNY period, but cannot rmb the exact charge😂 And the soup was surprisingly salty that day I have no idea why!!! CRI
