I had vegemite once in Australia and I did not like it at all, so I was hesitant about marmite but someone had told us that this was good so we went for it.

Wow, just wow. I was so surprised at how enjoyable it was! Savoury and chock full of flavour, with the scallions providing another layer of fragrance. I don’t know whether pure marmite really tastes like that, or if the wsd bakers added extra stuff to it to produce this tasty thing, but yeah I’ll definitely be more open to trying marmite stuff now!

Pistachio blueberry financier was yummy! It’s almond-y and moist as usual.

Mmm this was a herby savoury flavour bomb. There was the aubergine, some sort of hummus (?) I think, feta cheese, tomato, herbs and sprinkles of some crumb/nuts. Sourdough base had its usual tang. Toasted it as we had it the next day, and the bottoms crisped up! I love their bialys - this one is my favourite so far :)

Very nice! Cheese was tasty but not super sharp, the flavour doesn’t hit at the start but ends nicely as you savour it. Liked the French butter too, the whole bun came together really nicely. I love the sourdough roll, it has a nice tang, great crunch from the crust + pumpkin seeds, I could eat it on its own and I’ll be satisfied :)

This was not bad too! The slice of country sourdough was v crunchy. It’s hard to go wrong with sliced almonds + frangipane, and the orange syrup with raspberry jam gave it additional flavour. The orange syrup kinda tasted like apricots. We got a pretty hefty slice (in comparison to the smaller pieces we saw on display) so thank u to the lady at wsd :)

Sticky date cake: liked the pecans! Quite dense, sweet bc the sauce was q permeating. Had a pretty strong spice taste, it’s not for everyone haha my bf and sis didn’t like it but I’m okay with it!

Kanelbullar: very heavily spiced with cinnamon + cardamom also (I think?). This didn’t rly have their signature tangy sourdough taste, but i must say it’s very Scandinavian style, the cinnamon buns are mostly like that in Norway/Sweden! I didn’t really like it tho, prefer their other menu items. But do give this a try if you’re looking for a scandi-style cinnamon roll :)

This sandwich was not bad! Leek was lightly spiced so there was a slight kick, liked the egg omelette which was nicely seasoned & cooked. I generally like their sandwiches! Also because I love their sourdough roll, which is crunchy, with a good tang, and the pumpkin seeds on the exterior of the roll adds an extra nutty crunch. This combo would not be my first pick as I rly like “caprese” and “fried egg guac”, but I wouldn’t mind having this again :)

We pre-ordered this for their pizza weekend promo. Mixed feelings about this: the crust was great as usual, with a nice sourdough tang and crunch. The garlic was a nice addition, flavouring the pizza well. However, the tomato sauce could have been seasoned better, and it left a strange aftertaste. It’s the first time we’ve had something from wsd that we didn’t enjoy :( A pity, because I really liked their cauliflower pizza (sold previously).

The sourdough slices were stuffed with 3 types of cheese, onions and leeks. Really enjoyed the flavour the onions and leeks brought to the sandwich. They were super generous with the cheese, so thank goodness we shared this as it would have been too heavy to finish it singlehandedly. This was also really oily bc it was the last one avail and probably had been left out for a while, but they reheated it and double bagged it for us so thank you @ wsd staff :)

Delicious donuts as usual! The donut was soft and fluffy, with a pleasant tang. The maple glaze gave a subtle maple flavour and wasn’t too sweet. Liked this a teensy bit more than the cinnamon sugar one :)

The sourdough toast was soft, chewy and tangy in the middle (my friend likened the texture to a minjiangkueh), while the crust was crunchy.

The nut butter wasn’t overly chunky, and was pretty nice, but I would have liked it better if there wasn’t a coconut oil taste. Nonetheless, I still enjoyed it, with the honey providing some sweetness.

The sage cream cheese + berry compote had a nice balance - the sage wasn’t overpowering! I liked that the cream cheese was very light and not jelat at all :)

The combination of ingredients in this sarnie was splendid! There was avo, red onions, tomato, chilli, fennel seeds, nuts, fried egg and cheese in between a sourdough roll topped with sesame seeds. The fennel seeds, chilli and raw red onions were really great additions, as they enhanced + complemented the flavour of the avo well. The sourdough roll was crusty and delicious as well :)

I enjoyed this! The bun had a dense crumb but was soft and fluffy, with a tang from the sourdough used. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the salted caramel walnuts weren’t too sweet at all, and was a great topping. It is a pretty hefty bun, well worth the price in terms of taste, texture and portion size :)
