Hokkien Mee
Have to give this a try since this is a fusion style of hokkien mee. The fettuccine was al dente with only slight hint of wok. The broth reminds me of Hokkien Man Hokkien Mee. Ingredients were fresh and prawns were big. My friend had the prawn noodle soup which he said was really good
Very distinct and intense wok hei taste. It has the strongest wok hei taste as the hokkien mee is fried over charcoal fire. One of the best plate of hokkien mee in SG. $6 is not enough for such a good hokkien mee.
A unique hokkien mee that is more refined with solid umami & less wok hei. Broth is excellent with strong flavour. Prawn is fresh and quality ingredients (sotong and pork belly) are used.
As the name implies, it is so good that you should try it daily if cholesterol is not an issue. One of the best hokkien mee that I have tried so far. Very flavourful with a strong wok hei taste. Fried with crunchy pork lark.
Nothing unique about this plate of hokkien mee as there is hardly any wok hei. The uncle has passed the stall to his son-in-law, but obviously not his skill.
$5.50 for this plate of hokkien mee. The highlight of this stall is the addition of side dish such as salted egg calamari or belacan pork.
The noodle was flavourful and you can catch some wok hei taste. The calamari was crispy and delicious. Ingredients like prawn, sotong and pork are fresh. Good plate, but wont be my top 5 hokkien mee
