Meat 🥩
Boneless chicken wings coated in herbed bread crumbs are fried to perfection, and then tossed in tomato sauce and slathered with a generous layer of mozzarella. 🧀 We throughly enjoyed this dish and I’d say that it’s best to finish this first as it may get cold easily.
Few places do tangsuyuk well and they’re often very overpriced. Thankfully, this tangsuyuk was lightly coated with batter and remained relatively crisp even with the sweet & sour sauce poured over the meat. There was also a nice amount of black fungus, purple cabbage, carrots and onions to cut through the richness of the dish! 🤩
Smash chicken: The chicken was really flavourful & spicy, and the spice intensity started to increase after the chilli hit the back of your throat 🥲. Spice lovers would honestly love this!!
Rex chicken: The portion of chicken was smaller than the other dishes, but the chicken was well-marinated and not overly tough. The side of achar was very refreshing and provided a nice tang to the meal 👌👌
Pan-roasted Toothfish ($28++): 8/10
This came with flower clams and the scallion clam sauce was super umami. The toothfish was also flaky and well-cooked
Charcoal-grilled Argentine Angus Ribeye ($28++): 8.5/10
Left the BEST for the last - @elfuegosg nailed the texture and seasoning for this ribeye. It came perfectly medium rare and wasn’t too chewy or tough. The Forest Mushroom Ragout on the side was also creamy without being too heavy on the palate. 💯 Nothing much to shout about for the Watercress Horseradish Salad though, but it provided a nice refreshing touch amidst all the beefy goodness!! DEFO a must get.
