To try

Decided to check out this newly opened cafe on a quiet weekday morning which shares the same space as Crane. Great place to relax with a cuppa, and the coffee is robust! great with regular milk. their filter coffee will be a next to try.
Popped into Rough Guys in between my fitness sessions since my fellow coaches were raving about their coffee. Had their white with oat milk and it was exactly the right kinda oat flat white i was seeking. I loved the shophouse interior, plenty of space to chill when I have more time to sit and enjoy a filtered coffee as well as their sandwich (it’s by Love Handle Burger!)
Plus Coffee adds to the list of specialty coffee cafes around Chinatown, a pretty good location with fitness and yoga studios peppering the area. Their menu is simple - espresso, latte (also flat white), filter. Learned that the owner started as a home-grown hobby turned business, and roasts his own beans in the store!
The latte was reasonably priced at $5.50; it was smooth, but I thought I should have ordered it with oatmilk (they use Oatside) instead of regular Meiji. Will try their espresso next round or a long black! Looking forward to buying their whole beans when they are ready to sell them.
Serving up classic and reinvented Italian inspired dishes, head up this contemporary bistro on the 3rd floor of Shaw Centre for a lunch get-together with friends! Whether it's pizza for sharing or classic pasta dishes cooked to al dente perfection, order up a spread of their Penne with Spicy Tomato Sauce, Pancetta and Italian Sausage ($16) and creamy Pumpkin Cappellacci in Brown Butter, Sage and Balsamic ($15.50). Burppler Siming T raved about the Burrata Pizza ($24), which was "Topped with marinated cherry tomatoes and basil pesto, the pizza met my expectations with its thin, crispy yet airy pizza crust that was just so yummy."

Unlike its name, Martini Pao Bhaji ($9) is not an alcoholic dish. It’s so named cause of the martini glass it was served in, under the chef’s creative direction. Taking on an Italian element, Garlic Bread was used instead of the typical pao seen along the streets of India, which was a great move because they certainly went well together.
