Spinach and ricotta tortellini sitting in caramelised butter, with toasted pine nuts and sage. I think this would be good as a sharing dish - these ricotta stuffed “dumplings” are quite rich and paired together with the other dishes that LINO serves up, it can get quite heavy.

Note that if you use Burpple Beyond, you can only use it on pastas below $16 (which was why we tried this dish).

Eleven Strands has become a fan favourite on Burpple Beyond. A cosy little cafe with so many western options - definitely check out their home made pasta, this vongole had a tasty white wine sauce and a generous serving of clams!

Finally tried the beef short rib pasta which has been highly raved to me by friends! The hand made linguine was perfectly al dente and the beef pieces were generous and tender. I was expecting the red wine sauce to be a lot richer, but as an afterthought I was glad it wasn’t as I could finish the whole dish without feeling too “jelat”.

Pizza was good but not fantastic - crunchy and fluffy crusts all around. Three 12-inch pizzas and 3 pastas were more than enough for 7 girls and with burpple beyond, dinner was very worth it. Great place to catch up in groups now that Phase 3 has started, be sure to make a reservation though!
