Was mind-blown by the Sukiyaki Beef w/ Uni Rice, definitely the highlight of my lunch. Even so, every sushi was good, unique in their own way.

so good
Here’s another Bánh Mì from my current list of favourites.
Walked in randomly for a pre-dinner and discovered they serve some great Bánh Mì. Bread was slightly warm upon serving, crispy exterior and soft interior. Most importantly, there was pâté.

Passed by this shop while I was making my way to Mrs Pho @ Beach Road. Decided to make a pre-dinner stop and this shop is now one of my go-to for Bánh Mì.
Will post about their Bánh Mì 2 days later but first, let’s talk about their Pho. The rice noodles was good, soft and firm to the bite. Broth was flavourful & light. This is one of my favourite.
On a side note, the beef slice was tough though. I could do with just meatball alone. The broth n noodles are enough to keep me eating anyway.
Pork Bánh Mì ($4.50) + Egg ($1) + Iced Coffee ($1)
As the Pork option already comes with Pâté, I decided to add Egg instead to make it fuller. The Pork & Egg went very well together.
Add $1 to make it a set. Iced Vietnamese Coffee all the way!
If you love spicy, their chilli is 🔥
Beef Bánh Mì ($4.50) + Pâté ($1)
Pâté is the way to go! I consider it an essential in a Bánh Mì. As the Beef option doesn’t come with it, I added some.
Beef is surprisingly good, for someone who usually go for Ham option, I like the tender and juicy beef a lot.
If you love spicy, their chilli is 🔥
Many are familiar with Mrs Pho. Though not my favourite, they have one of the better Pho in SG. Added lime to the tasty broth for extra sourness
A cozy cafe in the west.
Tucked in a quiet neighbourhood, together with @gelatolabo in a 2-in-1 shop concept, a fairly chill place to spend my lazy afternoon.
Mushroom Risotto
Italian rice cooked with broth until creamy consistency. Every grain of rice was soft and firm to the bite. This is my go-to order when I visit @eaglewingsloft , or Lobster Risotto when I feel like splurging.

Remarkably long queue, I was in queue for more than half an hour.
No wonder the Chicken Cutlet is so popular. The endless order of chicken cutlet resulted in freshly fried cutlet for every order. The thick piece of chicken cutlet was tender, curry was poured upon order so the outer remains crispy. The thin noodles coats and lifted up the curry very well. Great lunch.

Great dining experience at Singapore’s Original Handroll Bar.
Starting from left to right, thn top to bottom:
Hotate
Kanpachi
Salmon
Toro
Crab
Engawa
Serving from the mildest (Hotate) to the strongest (Engawa) flavour. Engawa was torched and brought out the smokey aroma, crab wasn’t how i expected it to be, I thought it would be flavourless but boy was I wrong The crab was really flavourful, I could taste the crab miso mixed in it.
